Budweiser For The Celebration

My entry for #BeerSaturday by @detlev. This week, my choice of beer is the popular Budweiser. This is not just a regular beer. Not just a beer that is too common. In fact, not every bar sells it. As far as I am concerned, this is because it is classic. Whatever is of a higher hierarchy is not to be found everywhere but to be seen only in classic places and reputable places.

The golden View is sexy

One of the most popular foods in South-west Nigeria is the pounded yam. still in the spirit of celebrating International some’s day. I went to the market. Got a tuber of yam. Came back home and boiled the yam. Before then, I did tell my partner not to engage in anything kitchen today. I want to do the cooking myself. I peeled the yam, boiled it, and eventually pounded it. Made the popular Egusi soup to go with it.

Love does not have to be expensive. Just a mere of the little we do for our parents is enough to prove the point that we are meant to help and assist each other. She has been the one doing all the cookings all this while. #InternationalWomen’sDay, I chose to cook for the woman that has always been the one cooking. I watched her eat while I sip my bottle of budweiser. She was very much satisfied and she loved the food. a combination of Egusi soup and pounded yam made for love and eaten by my love real made the International Women’s Day celebration for this year 2024 sexy.
