Great post and it's the same "offline" So many people start up an offline business expecting huge results and high income returns, it can take years, sometimes decades to pay off loans before there is any "Real Profit". The problem with most people is they get in to business for the wrong reasons. It should never be about the money, it should always be about applying yourself by putting your best foot forward, build a business around your skills and passion and 1. It will never feel like hard work and 2. You will attract the right customers who recognise your value. 3. You are right it takes time to get results.
I remember a great quote from Robert Kiyosaki "The Rich Don't Work For Money" They work for cash flowing assets, always investing and pumping money in to projects or businesses for cash flow. I know it kind of contradicts itself but the meaning of it is to forget about the money and focus on the business and business skills. If people want to work for money they should get a job, but they probably wont get rich with that plan. I totally get it why some people have high excpectations from the outset, I did too when I started my online business I soon learned that it was not as simple as the so called 'Gurus' said it would be. You are absolutely right and Passion with developing good skills are essential for success in anything.

Set things up, work hard and then the benefits will flow. It's not the easiest thing to hear because it takes time and effort.
