My Laundry Problem ; )

When I lived alone, I had no washing machine and washed clothes myself.
I promised myself that I'd get one when I had money. Money came but this machine never came. There was no laundry services in my area where I could give dirty clothes and get them back after being washed.

Also, I purchased the books I wanted for a long time.
In this picture, there's a book by Michael Capuzzo. Similarly, I got the book by Sudha Murthy called 'The Mother I never knew.'

Time passed...
I was still washing my clothes manually. When my grandma got to know of my situation she suggested a washing bat (a device that was used in India, it was present in every household, you can google it)
Now machines have replaced it reducing our labor at least in urban areas.

I laughed at my grandma's idea.
Soon a laundry area opened nearby and I started paying in return for their washing services.

I wonder what the washing bad looks like. It is nice if someone else does your laundry but I rather do my underwear myself.

Thank you for your entry and for joining pic1000.

Greetings @wakeupkitty

Obviously, everyone should do their undergarments themselves lol.
It's like a mini cricket bat with flat surfaces. Kids even sometimes play cricket with it.
