Welcome To Spring
The transition from winter to spring at the moment in my country isn't really funny, as it marks the transition from a colder temperature to a warmer or hotter condition. It isn't fully spring yet in Nigeria, as it has not started raining, so everywhere is annoyingly hot, even with the air conditioner and fan on.
At the moment, a lot of farmers are eagerly tending to their farm lands, preparing the fertile soil for the planting season that will sustain their communities and the nation at large in the coming months. Also, the markets are overflowing with some new fresh fruits and vegetables.
Apart from the rain that comes with spring, which makes everywhere look beautiful and greenish, the increased rainfall supplies steady water for drinking, irrigation, and other purposes. Spring also encourages increased outdoor activities and allows one to slay their dress without thinking of the cold.

This season comes with its perks and cons. I am usually just glad about the good farm produce people get to harvest.
Same here, one thing that gladdens me during this season is the food production and harvest that improves yields and food security.

How long is the rain season there?
It depends on the state, some states experience 7months of rain, some 5 months and some 3 months
