Nigeria has exchanged $56.7 Billion worth of Bitcoin and crypto in the past year, Sadly they're still looked down upon in the crypto space

Some people say strong numbers for a developing country and I would not lie I do agree with them. Developing countries are going to be the strong drivering false of the crypto movement and adoption. African to the world, Nigeria and Nigerians especially the youths are not taking any chances in the crypto space, according to a Nigerian slang "Nigeria No Dey Carry Last" which simply means we don't play or joke around when it comes to making money and that we mean business, youthful population with so much enthusiast, We have got the market and would let the government hatred on Bitcoin and Crypto and it's crypto ban law stop us.

Traditional banking systems should take note, Nigeria's $56.7 Billion in Bitcoin exchange shows where the future of finance is headed and that crypto adoption can not be stopped, and the Nigerian $56.7 Billion in Bitcoin exchange should not surprise anyone because in a country where inflation increases daily, and prices of our currency keep diminishing, the peoople which always find a way out, at the point, it is safe to say that Nigeria is the home of Bitcoin in Africa and also Nigeria is poised to become a front-runner in the world of cryptocurrency and global adoption as Nigeria is ranking second in the Worlds Global crypto Adoption Index by STATISTA.

But sadly we're still extremely stigmatized and looked down upon in the crypto space and Web3, A lot of Nigerians have complained about losing Web3 and Crypto Job opportunities just because a Nigerians, some people said they lost their jobs because their bio says they are Nigerian, that they have been told that because they are Nigerians, the Nigerian reputation will drive off investors which is said because the are qualified for the job. The stigma is so bad that other Nigerians in the crypto and web3 space would advise you to either take off Nigeria from your bio or take a course online from any school abroad to use in your CV.

Great post @onwugbenuvictor.
You see, when it as to do we Nigeria, I am tired of discussing anything in relation. I agree that the internet has being very tough on us, but I think the faults lies on our hands. Aside the fact that government has brought shame upon the nation, we as individuals lack corporation. Let me give you an example...

There is a crypto platform that two of my friends use. They earn alot from it, but it requires hard work to grow the account just like hive. In that platform, there are certain people who choose to give massive support and assistance to their fellow citizens, but the Nigerians there are even fighting themselves. When you Know that someone comes from same place as you, they start finding fault among themselves.

I think the problem majorly lies among us, Having the fear that someone would be better than you.

To be very honest, I agree with everything you have said, most of the time we Nigerians are our own problems outside the stigma.

Please share the name of the crypto platform, thank you.

Ohhh
You haven't followed me back which is impossible to message you. I find it improper to share another platform here, but I have pasted it as a comment on your today's post about NFT on Twitter.

That's terrible for Nigeria, but if there is this feeling, you can be sure that it has to be resolved at home first.

Here in Brazil, for example, the population criticizes politicians who are corrupt, but the majority of Brazilians are corrupt. To solve the problem of corrupt politicians, we have to solve the cultural problem of the population.

You are actually right, we have to resolve issues at home first.
