Lesson in Humility || AmAliveAndThriving || AmAliveChallenge || ListNerds Task || 07-05-2023

At the funeral service of late Queen Elizabeth, towards the end of the service, I was touched by what happened before the body was taken to the grave for burial.

All symbols of power from the coffin was removed (She was dethroned), so that Elizabeth (called by name) can be committed to the grave as a simple Christian.

Immediately the order was given;

  1. The staff of office was removed,
  2. Then the scepter,
  3. The crown followed and all valuables were removed.

The Queen was buried with NOTHING.

Notice that the "Queen" was not included to her name at this point too. Life is indeed vanity, and that teaches us humility.

  • Humility in power,
  • Humility in relating with others,
  • Humility in our acquisition of wealth, and
  • Humility in all our endeavors,

In a nutshell, in the end, we will all go back with NOTHING.

Completing ListNerds Task

I engaged in the hunt for Larry which was interesting as there were lots of mails, so I engaged in the ListNerds task of reading more than 10 mails to find Larry who is always busy.
