Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 175 // Mountain Scenery

How are you doing my friends?

I am really happy to be here once again to participate in the Collage contest round 175.

My project this week is oriented to the scenery of the mountain captured from a long distance on the hills.

I got the feeling that it was like in the plain field back in my hometown. The air is fresh and calm reassuring. I thought about adding special images to the whole project to obtain a mountain and somehow scary element in the back.

I am hoping to transform this beautiful scenery. The view from the coast of the sea and a boat speeding up to reach an unknown destination. I first fought that the blue sky and seawater could be replaced with something more solid. The view of the earth and mountains provide a feeling of homecoming satisfaction.

I realized that the green leaves on the corner should remain in the final image.

It was a pleasure to participate in this edition. I started my course on digital art production through the utilization of technics in GIMP but also add code to complete specific tasks. I have learned many effects through the discovery of the tutorials in GIMP. The edition of the main picture was not too difficult after two participants in the edition of Collage. The training is capital to increase performance.

I am playing around with the tool to change the sky and the scenery in major proportion. The positioning of the newly added picture is vital if the final result should be accepted.

I admired the completion of all the winners in the previous edition 174. I try to follow their steps and produce a better Collage image. I added a dark blue sky. Also, I changed the light intensity from the original mountain image.

It is always great to add some animals in the natural place construction of the imagination. I invite you to compare the final result below and the edited image on the first position on top.

I use the software Gimp to edit the pictures in a way it is convenient for me.
After the combination of modified pictures, I made a collage series that help define the final shape of the town.
