Scientists Taking Machine Learning Personal

I think Science and technology are undoubtedly one of the greatest things to ever happen to mankind. If we compare our days to the days of the former generation, we would discover that our lives are a lot easier and more exciting than the older generations.

It all started with a few discoveries here and there by some of the founding fathers of science like Aristotle and William Harvey. Science continued to improve until the days of Albert Einstein when we saw some of the laws of physics come into play.

Science and technology have continued to evolve over the years, and it is now like a competition among some of the top scientists to create something that's spectacularly out of this world. To a very large extent, I think some of these scientists have taken this pursuit of innovation too far.

From the creation of various kinds of robotics and artificial intelligence to the innovations of genetic engineering, I had to pause for a while to think; what if these high-level innovations turn back to destroy us?

Just in case you were not aware, it might interest you to know that scientists have crossed the line with artificial intelligence and robotics. The new big thing is Machine Learning, and to some extent I think this has become dangerous.

How Is Science Pushing Machine Learning

A lot of people argue that there's no God, and that creation happened through a big bang. Some of these categories of people have gone on to say life can be recreated by another man. To prove this, they have tried to create human-like structures called "robots" to perform and think like humans.

While robotics wasn't convincing enough, they advanced to artificial intelligence, and now to machine learning. The idea behind machine learning is that some of these robots should possess the ability to think and learn new things all by themselves and to perform outside what they have been programmed to do.

That means for instance, If a robot was originally designed and programmed to only serve food to customers in a restaurant, with Machine Learning now involved, it is expected that these robots would not only serve food to customers, but this robots can now get angry and slap the customer if they misbehave.

The idea is basically for robots to learn new things from their surroundings by themselves outside of their program, and to execute some of the things that they have learned from observation into action. This kind of innovation could be exciting at first, but as time goes on, these robots might get out of control, and boom, Danger strikes!

I remember an interview section where Elon Musk was asked about his opinion on AI and Machine Learning; He said if we are not careful and we continue like this, then this robotics might end up destroying us one day.

What these scientists are unknowingly doing is that they are making metals and objects to attain self-awareness and consciousness. Such advancements could redefine our understanding of life and intelligence, prompting a reevaluation of AI's role in society.

Ethical concerns emerge as we consider the implications of machines that can think, feel, and make decisions autonomously. Yeah, I know it's advancement in technology but then; I think it has crossed the limits of being careful.

Debates are intensifying over the moral responsibilities of creators towards these AI entities and the potential risks they pose to humanity. Because some of these creators just want to make a name for themselves, forgetting about the consequences that might follow.

Fields Where Science Is Mostly Needed But Has Not Been Felt

I believe if this intelligence and energy are channeled to the right path, it would be a lot better for us all. It's not really wise that we have so much intelligence and many fields and sectors of our lives are still being affected by issues below our intellectual control.

Despite the big inventions made in various scientific domains, critical areas like climate change, renewable energy, and public health are experiencing a small amount of attention and innovation.

It was while I was making a recent post on Earth conservation that I realized our planet needs more focus and funding with the natural inhabitants around us. Science is supposed to be the backbone of planet Earth, and I could imagine how this planet would become if all this energy and intelligence were focused on it.

As we delve into the realm of scientific exploration and technological advancements, it's important to redirect our efforts toward these underfunded areas of nature and public health.

Prioritizing these fields can lead to transformative breakthroughs that not only address urgent global challenges but also ensure a balanced approach to scientific progress, where the welfare of humanity and the Earth is put first over the pursuit of accolades, records, and recognitions.

I appreciate your time around here❤️:-)

That means that the robots can learn to fight, shoot guns or anything at all. This is serious o, if it goes unchecked, we would definitely be in danger.

That's exactly what am talking about friend, when this robots learn to fight wars they might end up trying their skills on humanity
