My best friend! The word “friend” is a very powerful word it can make and break you. So you have to be very smart when choosing a friend.

I remember back then In secondary school I use to have a friend which I thought was a friend, but in real life was my worst enemy. Why would I use the word enemy to describe a friend? I will explain. So this is how it happened,i and my friend planned to visit the Orphanage home,to give stuffs to the children I told my mum and dad about it and they said it is a very good one. So the D day came for us to go visit the orphanage home I called my friend to meet me at the bus stop, where we will take a ride to the orphanage home she agreed and said she’s on her way so I waited for her for like an hour or two. Which was fine by me I could do anything for my friend.

I’m pained writing this cause the pain is still very fresh,hmmmm my friend didn’t show up after a long wait only for her to call and say I won’t be going with a selfish person like you! I was shocked and confused where those words were coming from cause I don’t remember doing anything bad to my friend I wanted to ask where she got those words from? But before I could say anything she ended the call. Poor Nora looking confused and shocked, could not walk properly because of what she heard, was hit by a motorcycle thank God the accident wasn’t that serious, but till this day I can never forget what my friend told me.

My friend was jealous of me simply because everybody would always say positive things about me and she wasn’t happy about it. She thought the right thing to do was to visit a native doctor that same day we were supposed to visit the orphanage home. She told the native doctor to make me suffer and for everyone to hate me, but when the native doctor was mixing his concoction the pot broke! and the native doctor told her “that girl you want to do this thing to,her head is to strong it won’t work.” And that was y she called me selfish. How did I get to know about this? she confessed to me cause the burden of what she had in mind to do to me was hunting her.

My advice to people that thinks everyone likes them, hmmmm not everyone is your friend and likes you, ones jealous is involved a friend can become your worst enemy so just be the friend of yourself cause no one know you better than yourself.
