Powering and Saving

My last post made me realize that the curation rate really matters. I don't know why, but when I have a big vote by SBI I get more following along, and that means that the SBI vote has even more value.

So, for now, while I'm building up my bank, I'm going to go 100% HP on my posts, and every once in a while I will increase my SBI delegation to get those sweet bonus points.

When I'm at the point that I'm getting a decent daily vote, say 1SBD, I may switch back to 50/50 and start saving.

There are a few accounts that trail along behind the Hive SBI accounts, depending on timing and voting power. It's hard for anyone to give meaningful size votes with the same frequency as Hive SBI, but easy to pick an account to trail and only vote when your VP climbs above some threshold value.

Oh I get it, and for some reason I never thought of just following the SBI voters as a curation trail. I'm going to make that happen today.

@sbi-tokens follows the other accounts in a pro-rated way (i.e. if the main account has 45% of the HP, then @sbi-tokens follows it at a 45% ratio) so that it can deliver community token upvotes consistently regardless of which voting account delivers an upvote. So if you want to trail, the easiest way is to just trail @sbi-tokens.
