Figuring out the goals - Getting out of the Gig-Economy

So I have been giving it a lot of thought, and this is what I have come up with.

Mining in Mongolia by ILO Asia-Pacific, on Flickr

I want to see if #hive can give someone the opportunity to spend no more than 1h a day working on a following here, including the post creation time, and be able to create a wealth snowball.

What do I mean by that? Well, I can probably carve out an hour a day to work on this project, and after a year, will that result in me having enough HBD invested and enough HP working that I will be able to cut back on my regular job.

What this will look like would be this, can I pay myself $50/h while still increasing my total account balance greater than inflation, and then what is the max that I can take out.

For example, if I wanted to make sure that I could earn $100k SBD a year, and all that I ever extracted was from savings, I would need to have $500k in savings, that's a lot of money. However, how much would I need in there to pay myself $250/week? Well that's only $65k, so that's the goal. Get my savings to $65k.

Now, that isn't all of it. There is a return on HP, but I haven't checked into that lately to see how well I am picking winners on the curation front.

I need some more ideas

If you have any ideas on what I can/should do in an hour every day. Or if you know of any good reading material, sites that do analytics, etc let me know. I really want to see what the best avenue is to grow my accounts with an hour a day at most.

Update Frequency

I think that a monthly update, probably at the end of the month is going to be best. So the first real update will be the last monday this month. I will spend a little of my hour over the next couple of days thinking about the actual numbers that I have to figure out and what the first, second, third, etc. steps should be.

No more loafing for #noloafing

All of these posts will be tagged with the #noloafingmoney so if you want to see what I'm doing over there, that is the place to do it.

Its time for me to stop loafing and get involved. Plan to see a lot more of me on this platform and the other front ends.

The goal

I don't have the numbers nailed down, that is what this post is about.

The Why

If this is your first time here, thanks for stopping by. I wrote my first post on this topic in November 2019. They all have a "special" tag, so you can find them all here: #noloafingmoney. If you want to see where this all started, its with this post, Money and the Gig-Economy.
