This for me is something exciting, because a few days ago my girlfriend bought a Netflix account and I never had the opportunity to have a first time, I must admit, and I could notice that it has a great variety and infinity of exclusive series and movies.

I don't have much interest in movies, but I do have interest in certain series, so it was the perfect opportunity to watch a series that I wanted to see for a long time and I couldn't do it for lack of Netflix account.

This is Tekken Bloodline, a series that was released on August 28, 2022, and the series is set in volume 3 of the video game.

To put those unfamiliar with the video game in context, it's about a tournament where various fighters from different parts of the world compete for a prize money payout and the title of the king of the iron fist. And I could tell that the series is inspired by the third tournament.

I remember as a kid the first Tekken I played was 3 and there were many loose ends, things to be explained and in the series I could understand them.

This story is about a family of mother and son, named Jin Kazama and Jun Kazama, who live isolated from society because the mother wanted to make sure that her son would learn good before evil.

A very humble family with great skills with martial arts, because Jin's mother went out of her way to teach him to learn to control her son's anger, with the intention that the evil energies would not take over him and turn him into a demon.

Unfortunately, the story is not always the best and one day Jin returning from school some boys were bothering him, and he decided to let himself be carried away by anger, so he managed to get rid of the bullies until a certain point because his mother stopped him, calmed him down and resolved the matter peacefully.

Until the night arrives and in the early morning Jin and his mother were assaulted by a very powerful demon called Ogre, powerful enough to confront them both and defeat him.

At one point Jin's mother says goodbye to him, asks him to go to his grandfather if anything happens and throws herself and the demon into some gas cylinders and everything explodes.

Jin, with little energy and very wounded, travels to the city in search of his grandfather, who by the way was the winner of the martial arts tournament Heihachi Mishima.

He decides to raise and train him until his adulthood, where Jin participates for the first time in the iron fist tournament in the hope that in this tournament he will face Ogre, the demon that took his mother's life and take revenge.

Already in the tournament he faces different opponents, which most of them go for Heihachi and have different purposes, throughout the series they come to light, until the last battle where Jin is the winner.

Ogre appears already in his last battle wanting to confront him once again because Ogre attracts him the fighting spirit of the, and it was not easy for our protagonist, he was tired, but he confronted him with the help of his friends and his anger he was able to achieve the victory against Ogre.

At the end of the battle, Jin was very wounded, but consumed by hatred because he remembered over and over again how that beast killed his mother and his grandfather Heihachi took advantage of the moment to shoot him, leaving him seriously wounded.

This with the intention of corroborating his theory that Jin was a demon and he succeeded. Already in his last seconds of life, Jin suffered a demonic transformation which regenerated all his wounds, he confronted his grandfather and was about to kill him and remembered one of his mother's wise injuries that guided him to peace and let him live.

At that moment, Jin felt ashamed of his appearance in front of everyone and flew away.

The ending is a bit sad, but I have a theory that they will keep releasing episodes, to settle some loose ends and explain other things, but I must say it's a pretty good series, I recommend it and it's only available on Netflix.

A good series, good animation, exciting fights and a good final enemy. I think that along with Castlevania are the best series that Netflix has animated based on video games.
