Thinking of my future.

Life is hard work.

After another hard day at work I can't help but think about what the future holds for me and my family.
Working only gets you so far.

Myself and my partner both work and as long as we have two incomes in we will have a decent lifestyle. But how long will we need to keep it going. It's easy to say that these are the most expensive years. New mortgage, two kids in creche, holidays, weddings, life in general but i don't think that it ever gets much cheaper.

As long as we have two kids we are going to spend a lot of money getting them through life. Then when they hit 18 it's off to college and a lot more money. The want to buy a house, have kids, do anything and as parents we will want to support that where we can. I know that while i earned my own way in life my parents were still there to help when needed. They still are.

So if life doesn't get any cheaper then will we have to keep working up until the end??

I hope not but there are certainly people out there still living week by week in their 70's an 80's. The pension doesn't stretch as par as it used to so they need to keep the money coming in.

Sad but true.

So we need to focus on more money coming in.

I have no intention of working into my 70's and in reality would like to be very comfortable by my 50's. Passive income coming in every month. A wage on top of it plus future investments to have in reserve. Money making more money. I have the time so it's just about finding the right methods.

This is step one. Crypto has a big future and there is a lot of money to be made here in the next few months.

Step two will be adding properties when the time is right. Our housing market is still crazy right now so it's about the timing. It will crash, it always crashes so it's about having the money ready to take advantage when it happens next. I'm not in a rush yet as out mortgage and expenses are so high right now. The main focus is to bring them down first to free up more money for investing. No point in investing while paying a 6% mortgage and giving it all back to the banks. Hopefully a good bull run will help and run a few tokens up for me.

We never had the chance to travel together, to date properly or to have all of the fun parts of a relationship before life hit us in the face. Kids and covid took a lot from us but there is still time on the backend to do them after the kids are gone. The aim will be to have the financial freedom to take those trips and have those fun times when the opportunity is there.

Not easy but with the right moves we can do it.

Life is for living but without putting in some work i will not be able to experience it the way that i would like to. So i work hard on hive now, invest profits and later enjoy those results.

It's always in my head at the moment. Future building is hard and life can be stressful. Money solves a lot of these issues and frees up your time so it's very important.

I think you also need to focus on earning even while you are asleep
Things won’t get cheaper as you have said so the money you will be earning should be able to fit in your lifestyle even years later

I think you also need to focus on earning even while you are asleep.

Very important to have this. My crypto does this in small amounts right now so the focus is to keep increasing those numbers until they become a wage.

You have the right idea anyway.

That's true. I hope I won't follow that path.

Good for you. You have an early realization. As for me, 3 years from now, I will be 60.

Blessings on your plan my friend!

Long time no see.
Doing a bit of construction work at the moment. Decent wage and not too stressful. It's a good compromise for life right now.

Just trying to get by and stack some savings now.

New mortgage, two kids in creche, holidays, weddings, life in general but i don't think that it ever gets much cheaper.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. I'm a bit further down the road and it's gets just more and more expensive, especially with kids growing up and having more and more expensive needs :-).

We never had the chance to travel together, to date properly or to have all of the fun parts of a relationship before life hit us in the face.

Once the kids are somewhere above 12, there will be again time to do such stuff ;-)

I'm looking forward to those times. That's why i want to be well set up for it to have the time and money to live life fully.

There are lots of good things as well with the kids being small so i have to remember to enjoy those too.

I love your last statement, work hard now and enjoy the reward later. Life is not easy but it becomes easier when we have a reasonable finance running for us. The truth is to work hard now and enjoy later. I believe life will be smoother for you and this bull run will make lots of difference for you.
