I would prefer to avoid the "glory" of fame [Week - 152]
Fame is a somewhat controversial topic for me, nowadays, this quality is no longer synonymous with quality, it is well known that there are many famous people who make mediocre art and are still famous and opulent, there are also people who become famous for really silly things, for a scandal or a reality show. I firmly believe that fame is something related to karma, that is to say, what people get for their past life activities; something that is given back to them in this life, whether you believe in this or not, is something that gives a lot of explanation to the unfair fact that there are people without talent and virtue who have more glory, fame and fortune than people who are really brilliant.
To answer the question, although the idea of fame is inevitably appealing and serves to fantasize on some occasions, I think I would honestly prefer not to be famous.
Reasons why I would prefer not to be famous:
• The stress of the public: Although it would be something spectacular to have global recognition of your work, I think one of the things I would not like to be famous for is how overwhelming it could be to deal with the public. In general, I am a person who hates crowds, despite being sociable, I hate being surrounded by so many people, and being famous is synonymous with having people watching your life, so I would even lose my privacy.
• Being diplomatic and keeping up appearances: I really could not be famous, because it is something that also implies trying to be as correct as possible so as not to cause scandals and that your public does not see you in a bad way, which I could not do, since I am a very sincere and transparent person. If something bothered me from some program or interviewer, maybe my reaction and comments would not be very good and I would not hesitate to let them know. As my music speaks of moral and spiritual conscience in many occasions, I could also mess with politicians and you know that could get me killed or something like that, like they did with Bob Marley and other artists.
• Ego: Having fame and fortune implies power, and I don't know how it would be if I had a higher social and economic position, maybe I would become more arrogant and an idiot. Nowadays, I try to be as humble as possible, but the truth is I don't know how my ego would react to glory and fortune; I prefer to stay out of it.

You're right that being famous means many eyes are watching you, many people are going to you and yes you cannot do what you want without thinking that it might look bad or not good for the people around.

Being famous really must be exhausting and as you rightly say cause stress, I liked the idea that fame can come from karma and even more the reasons you gave for it.
Yes, really almost everybody wants it but it is not perfect. Yes, I think karma gives a lot of explanation to the fact that tontat and untalented people are famous and people with real talent are not. Thanks for commenting
