Watermelon in my yard

How are you all? Hope you all are great and enjoying your week days . I'm also good and enjoying watermelon from our yard.

What taste better than a homegrown watermelon?

Sweet, juicy homegrown watermelon made my day.
My Father-in-law plant watermelon in early Summer. And now we get the fruit 😍. Every plant get enough time to grow. We wait so long , care the plant like our buddy and when they give fruit... it gives immense pleasure and satisfaction.

In these pictures you can see the watermelon vines need plenty of room. This is our yard corner where we grow it. It touch the wall and space for vines is not enough 😅

We plugged 2 watermelon. This is 2nd. We're confused that how to know that is it ripe or not. What is the right time of plugging. Than I Google it and read that when the melon is immature , the spot is greenish or white. As the melon ripens the spot develops a cream or yellowish colour. This indicates ripness.

I was so excited before cut it, when i cut it and saw that colour i feel so so happy 😌
First we offer it to God as a bhog . Watermelon was full ripe and so sweet and juicy. We all enjoyed it so much ☺️ melon from garden is sweeter than those from the store. Because we grow it and get fresh so we enjoyed it so much.
