Wen Lambo? Let's Take A Look
I was taking my son to the kindergarten the other day and I saw someone was driving a Lambo. Before I saw this Lambo, I was thinking, why would someone want a Lambo? What makes it so special? But after seeing this Lambo, I can tell you they look pretty awesome IRL. What was even better was they sound like an absolute beast!!
I guess the main reason we are all in crypto is because we want a Lambo and I can say that after hearing that Lambo, I want one too now. But how realistic is this goal?
My initial thoughts were that a Lambo costs around €200k and when Bitcoin goes to €250k, job done! I have never checked or looked for a Lambo as I always thought it was out of my price range.
I therefore had a check of the car buying portal and the cheapest Lambo was actually €320k and then €332k. The specs look impressive, 640 PS, that explains the roar I heard! lol
The rims and cockpit are also totally awesome looking. I would be happy to be driving this bad boy.
However, this would mean for a someone who buys Bitcoin now and becomes a wholecoiner, to buy a Lambo, they would need Bitcoin to goto over €320k (or more if the price also goes up with inflation) before being able to afford a Lambo.
According to the Bitcoin halving clock there are 267 days left to the halving. Could there be a pump in Bitcoin to this value by then? Or is that too much to ask?
If someone has been stacking Bitcoin from a much lower vantage point and with a good sized accumulation amount, then the Lambo realisation point could come much sooner.
If someone accumlated 3 BTC at an average price of $10k for example, an 11x of Bitcoin to just $110k would be enough to buy a Lambo.
The alternative is that some of the alts like Hive pump and we could all get a Lambo. Hive is currently $0,359 and to get to $4 would be just over an 11x too which would get me with my current Hive Stake to $332k and enough to buy a Lambo.
Once I had the Lambo though, I don't think I would have any more money to keep running the thing. I would also have to see if my local mechanic knows much about Lambos for the service and any repairs that were needed.
Perhaps a better idea would be to visit one of the racing track experience days where you can drive the Lambo around the race track. I saw it costs around €700 for 3 laps. Also another alternative is that you can rent a Lambo for a whole day for €1399.
Could we see such a pump in Hive? This would mean the fiat $ value of articles would be huge and maybe we would get a huge influx of new Hivers to the platform.

Your best bet is to get via an alt. Some find that gem and go 100X and get your lambo in no time Steve!

Ha nice idea! When I see such cars I mostly look at the wheels. Realizing that one single wheel costs more than my whole car (including 4 wheels) 😂😂😂

I have a good friend in Rheinland. He always drove very nice Porsches. And for him it was like a Hobby, he loved the car, the meetups, the driving on the roads.
Remeber a discussion we once had when Tesla started. He told me: If you really dream of a special car, go to a store and make a test driving. The moment you sit inside, drive, Touch the wheel, you will know if it feels right for you.
That is some pretty good advices. I was at an American Car meetup 2 weeks ago and it was a nice crowd and you could see how much the people loved their cars. It can also be a hobby and lifestyle like you say.

I don't think a Lambo dream is feasible, I like to see it as a literal statement, when we say "wen Lambo"
It's very easy for hive to x10, it did that comfortably in the last bull market. When it does, I just want to keep growing my stake and maybe only choose to buy HBD do as to buy back hive when it's cheaper. But definitely, I'll fancy a decent cheap car.
I think you could be right, it would require an incredibly high % ROI/ROCE which is hard to get and sustain.
I am following you too, I would for sure rebalance some Hive to HBD if we see Hive x10. :)
Hive could x15 very comfortably and this will be a dream come true. HBD could be a secret weapon to increasing one's stake in 2027.

It's that whole coin piece that always gets me. I don't think I will ever own a full BTC. I am still doing my DCA'ing, but it feels like it is so far off and perhaps and impossible goal.
I thought you would have a few BTC by now Bozz, when the price was under $20k last year, it seemed like a bargain at the time, I wonder if we will ever see it at the price again?
Heck no. I didn't have any cash available when it was that low to pick any up. Under $20K is still quite a bit of money! I remember when it dropped down to $3000 that one Spring. That's when I should have jumped but I didn't have the money back then either. If I liquidated everything I might be able to snag a couple, but I don't want to do that.

Stocks are still a sound investment. I have a good portion of my check that goes into traditional investments. They aren't going away anytime soon.
Yeah, they are safe and should do well over time. I added Microstrategy to the portfolio, it is proxy buying Bitcoin I guess.
I think that is probably a good move.

I would not buy a lambo. My dream would be to accumulate enough to be able to live a simple life like I have now just from the interest/earnings. Just being free in a sense I would not have to go to work for someone else but live and work for myself.

That is a smart thing to do rather then buy a Lambo, getting your freedom to live and not work would be something more desirable than a Lambo for me too. I hope we will be able to reach that goal soon. 😃

Maintaining a Lambo will definitely be expensive. I much prefer renting one whenever I feel like it. When Hive 10'xd I will book some profits through trading it for HBD. Perhaps put it in savings and earn 20% interest :)
