Three Tune Tuesday.jpg

Hello Hive Music Lovers!,

Welcome to another #threetunetuesday created originally by @ablaze.

I like to share some music that I am listening to each week and this week we listen to 3 tunes from the great street performer Luke Hurley.

But first, for those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday.... to quote @ablaze :

The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize.

After listening to The Verve in a previous #ttt post with some powerful lyrics, I also started listening to some of the great tunes by Luke Hurley. Whereas The Verve were singing that we are a slave to money, we have the first song from Luke that reminds us that We Are Not A Machine, we are human beings.

This was the first tune I heard from Luke and I really loved the huge build up and powerful, inspiring lyrics. The contrast from The Verve singing at Glasto and Luke on the street with people going about their business and he is producing this great piece of music is astounding.

There are a few recordings of this tune and in the end I have opted for this live version as it is one of my favourites.

The next song is another classic song from Luke that shows what talent that he has.

He produces a great sound with some clever lyrics and it is hard not to like this song.

The final tune is a real masterpiece and just blew me away with the awesome lyrics and guitar work.

The amazing concentration and passion comes through from Luke performing on this street and we can see the audience really enjoying it too.

I love musicians that do not follow the confines of the traditional music industry and Luke is for sure one of those, a true independent musician.

I haven't listened to many musicians from New Zealand, but am glad that I discovered Luke and his great music.

That wraps up my #ttt for this week. What have you been listening to?

The winner from last week's 5 LEN token giveaway will be announced next week as I cannot do the draw today.

GIVEAWAY - WIN 5 LEN TOKENS

For a chance to win 5 LEN tokens, all you need to do is write in the comments your favorite song from Luke (if any). The winner will be drawn randomly and announced in the next post.

Happy musical Tuesday everyone, thanks for listening.

He is pretty cool. I have never heard of him before. That is one of the things I love about Nashville, there are people like this guy just sitting on almost every corner and they are all so amazing. Some of those guys down in the subway in New York are pretty phenomenal too.

That sounds pretty cool. I was never in NYC or Nashville, but it is something to look out for. You can't beat a good street artist.

OMG, this is a gem! I had not had the pleasure of hearing this stupendous musician, without a doubt you are right when describing him. His sound is so genuine and his lyrics, his voices are so powerful, it will be hard to put him down. I don't think I can stop listening to he, he's really good. A hug @mypathtofire !

Through your post I always get a chance to know many singers as I haven't heard many songs.
Today my favorite song from these three is Mona Lisa.
May be I am biased but the reason is the name itself and just not name but he is playing that guitar so nicely. But I was wondering that why there are so less views on YouTube.

Thanks, yes, I thought why there are not so many views. The Mona Lisa song is a great tune and cool sounding name!

Luke hurley seems like an amazing singer, with his exceptional singing ability. Have never been a fan neither a follower, so your content here is helping to discover who he is, I'll therefore try searching some of his music this week when fully chanced.

Guess, I love his flat and ability to handle the guitar along with it. That's quite amazing. Thanks for sharing, ohh less I forget you have an amazing content writing ability as I was so much interested from the beginning to the end of the post

Do well to have an amazing day.
