HPUD - Reaching 100k HP
Happy HPUD everyone!
It is good to have Rektember behind us and we can now sit back and enjoy Uptober! With that in mind, I did a 3700 Hive Power Up today that took me over my goal of 100k HP.
I started the year at 56314 HP and have been powering up each month and now at the start of October have reached my goal of 100k HP a little earlier than expected as the bear market has dragged on and the low price of Hive is very attractive considering the great ecosystem and all that is possible on Hive.
Even though we still have 3 more months to go, I do not plan to make a new goal for the rest of the year, but will wait until the end of the year to set some new goals for next year. One of them will be for sure Hive and maybe HBD, but will consider this more in December.
So far this year I have also hit my 100k SPS target and I have also this week passed my GLX target of 100k GLX.
My current GLX balance is 101880 GLX and I will keep stacking this and taking advantage of the great returns until the game is fully released.
The final goal outstanding is the ALIVE goal and I will keep working toward this in the next weeks.

Yeah, what can I say, I am a believer, lol. As much as I get frustrated with the community at times, it’s still the best social protocol on the planet, that and I have businesses built here that I do not intend to give up on… Even though I have thought about it from time to time… Hive is like social crack, lol.

Oh it will. It’s just up to all of us to keep it rolling! I have seen way more positive posts and comments than negative lately, so that’s a good sign. You wouldn’t see it by looking at Twatter, lol

Yeah, I've kept my plan for the 1 January.
When I saw your post, I thought about powering up more sooner, but then I decided I should stick to my plan. I think I worked out, as well, that it would take me, with no further fiat investment, thirteen years to become a whale! 😁

Congratulations. 100 000 Hive Power is a huge milestone. Today is a power down day for me. I started a power down in the recent past. I keep it going. Recently I went under 1000 Hive Power. It will keep going down to around 500 Hive Power. But I will rebuild it over time.
Sorry to hear about your power downs, but the main thing I hope is that you can find the stability that you are looking for and can feel better.
Hopefully. I really hope that one day I can get out of poverty.

Nice job on your power up! I feel like maybe I had been closer to that 10K target if I hadn't put so much of my rewards into HBD. I was trying to hit a personal goal there and it really impacted my growth. I don't regret it, but it would have been nice to at least come close to 100K this year. Do you feel like GLX is going to amount to anything? I was selling mine at first, but now I am trying to stake a little just to take advantage of the interest rate.
Thanks Bozz. I know what you mean as aiming for both can spread your rewards out. I am glad I stuck with HP as it is good to get to this number.
I guess the split now with GLG and Splinterlands as sepearte projects I think is a good thing. I think the game needs lots of improvements but it could be a pretty successful platform. 100k GLX costs only $300 at the moment, so its also a low risk investment I think.
I just plan on staking what I am earning from the airdrop and the interest. I wouldn't buy any. I don't think people care as much about soccer as people think they do. Maybe that's just my American side coming out. Though I did spend part of the day watching some soccer yesterday.
I was watching some MLS and looks a pretty good league to watch tbh. We will see if it really takes off though. I hope so.
It's been around for a while. I am just not sure about the game.

I remember seeing your posts a while back when you were active on listnerds (that project kinda fell apart 😂... but they can't all be winners) and you sure have been stacking the hive since then. Well done on such a big increase in hive power.
