Hello Gods Unchained Fans,

As I mentioned last week, I have invested in Neferu, champion of death to upgrade my death deck. It cost 0.025779 ETH, but is necessary to keep this deck competitive in Auric Gold.

Not only that, after a few card draw suggestions from @kstreet last week, I picked up 2 card draw cards to make the deck more aggro and I am really happy with the choices so far.

I was doing some Gods Unchained streams on Zap.Stream and was testing it out on @cyberdexter and it seem to work very well with the card draw against nature and light decks.

The real trouble deck has been War, which still causes me trouble sometimes if I don't get a good draw. However, with a faster card draw, I can often pull back against the fast draw of War.

The deck win rates are quite flattering so far, but I expect it to even out some more with more matches in Auric Gold/Solar Gold.

Today's Battle - Champion of Death

In this week's battle, I show you Neferu in action! She can really help turn a game back round in your favor by board clearing and keeping you in the game at 6 mana if you have lost some control.

1 Mana

I start but have nothing to play first.

2 Mana

I play my bonded warrier and then boost him with Semut. My opponent plays trial spirit.

3 Mana

I take out Trial Spirit but then attack his god afterward. The hidden power of Feral Shapeshifter is brought out.

4 Mana

I have limited options but try to draw a card. I have a 9 health advantage. My opponent plays Blade of Styx. The board is almost cleared.

5 Mana

I play Ray of disintegration to remove Feral Shapeshifter. My opponent draws again and heals now. Just 4 health in it.

5.5 Mana

I play Necrosepter and remove a card. The War deck is drawing very fast.

6 Mana

Time to put a stop to this and Neferu clears the board. My opponent has just 1 card thank goodness!

I fill the board with Princess and co and it's time to cause some Anubian havoc using my new Untold Greed card! My opponent is down to 2 health... no cards.. take that War deck!!!

Summary

The Anubian deck is given a nice boost with Neferu and the extra card draw cards help to keep up with the fast drawing war decks.

The cost of the deck has now shot up to $98, so it isn't a true budget deck anymore with these latest additions, however the upgrades are needed to compete in Auric Gold and beyond.

My weekend rankings was not so great with my light deck last weekend. I have since tried to make it a little more aggro and will see if it can perform better now.

Since my last update, I have now reached level 225(+6) and have 87(+23) shadow cards and 459(+68) meteorite cards. My collection value has increased and is worth 3562 (3059) GODS tokens and value in fiat of $600 ($544). Today I forged many cards which took me all day and I have also 300 less plain cards.
