5 minute freewrite Tuesday prompt Strange rock formation

This is my post for #freewriters Tuesday prompt Strange rock formation hosted by @daily.prompt

It is heavy like a rock but it is made up of shells like you took the shells and glued them to a rock, it makes a strange rock formation it is made by Mother Nature, I am not sure how she made it but most of the rocks on our islands in the Indian River are made like the one in the picture.

Any time that I go to one of the islands I pick up a few of these 'rocks' to bring home and make a border around my flower garden. The log is a fat lighter log, I put it up on the rocks and line my shell on top of it.

I love to find these big clam shells. The small one in the middle is a clam fossil.

These are hermit crab shells, I do not take any that is in the water or along the edge of it because I feel a hermit crab can still use it.

I fished today, I ran to Mullet Creek because a friend said they went there Sunday and caught 10 pompano. I ran all over the place up there and never saw one. So I came back to Long Point and saw one boil from my boat, this is when you see the swirl in the water where a fish swims away from the boat. I anchored, it was 10:23 when I looked at my phone, not long at all I had a pompano. After getting it off, rebaiting, and casting my line back out I looked at my phone and it was 10:29. I thought alright I might have a good day. I only caught 1 more pompano and a permit, the permit is the top fish in this photo, I can not keep them so after taking a fast picture, I threw it back. I had another pompano but my line broke and I lost it.

It was only 12:30 and a storm was building.

I cut it close but made it to the boat ramp before it got to me, I did this by only running through the manatee zone.

My husband went trout fishing today, but he never caught one. He said he will go pomano fishing tomorrow.
