5 minute freewrite Tuesday prompt abbey road
This is my post for #freewriters Tuesday prompt abbey road hosted by @daily.prompt
When I see the prompt Abbey Road, I think of The Beatles song, but I also think of the tunnel I used to have as a driveway.
It was 6 years ago but seems like yesterday when my husband called me and said, I need to warn you before you get home, the evil neighbor cleared between our road and hers, she took the tunnel out.
She owns the land and has the right to clear it, but just the day before, she told us that she did not want us using the road on her side, she wanted her privacy. We had no problem with this.
I came home to this, does this look like she is going to have her privacy? Our property line starts at the woods by her car on the right, they cleared to there.
When we bought here, the only road into our place was the one she does not want us to use. We had drug dealers living there before she bought the place. My husband cut a hole through the woods and made our tunnel to keep our traffic separate from theirs. It was our own Abbey Road
The evil neighbor did not get a Title Search when she bought the property so she thought she could stop us from using any of her land, which she found out she could not do and has now let the woods grow back....
I am sure that I broke my toe, I have heard you tie it to the toe next to it. I had no tape so I used little hair ties. They did not feel tight but when I took them off I had huge indents from them.
I've seen similar incident play out between people who are neighbors. Some neighbors always try to draw a line and restrict people from coming close to their place.
It gets a little too much when it's done in an inconsiderate way. Hehe.
Yes, it was the way she did it, saying she wants her privacy and then cutting it all down. I can laugh now when I think of all the money it cost her when all she had to do was tell us her plan and we would have shown her the papers that say we have the 40 foot easement through her property, but she wanted to be sneaky.
Yeah. Interestingly, she got what she deserves and the money spent cannot e recovered. Haha
When people try to deceive, it will always come back to bite them.

That was a cool tunnel. What a shame it was cut down. I hope your toe heals quick. I remember breaking one and it wasn't pleasant.

Thank you, I did not go to the Dr because the only thing he would do is tape it to the next one, but I am sure it is broken. It is still swollen and all day it has been getting bluer. I have tape now so it is stable and feeling better.
There is a short curved street in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho called Abbey Road. Last I knew, it encircled a large vacant lot and a small dog park.

Sorry to hear about your toe! You better check with your doctor if possible :)
Thank you for your concern. If I go to a doctor it will take several days or weeks to get an appointment and all they will do is charge me a big bill and tell me that they can tape it to the one next to it, which I now have tape, so I did it myself and only cost me the price of the tape.
