5 minute freewrite Thursday prompt revival

This is my post for #freewriters Thursday prompt revival hosted by @daily.prompt

My cousin that we got the mangoes from yesterday wanted us to get 40 pounds of mullet for a friend of his that is visiting the friend said he would pay $1.00 a pound.

My husband can no longer throw the big cast nets because he has had 3 hernia surgeries. I asked the lady who works at the fish house to ask the fisherman if any of them would catch the fish for us. She called today and said one of them got them. We tried to pay the fisherman for them but he would not take the money, so we will not charge the man who wants them.

When we went to get the fish a thunderstorm was just about to hit but we made it there and back home before it got too bad. I snapped this picture while sitting at the red light, the river is very rough.

One of my biggest regrets is, I can not remember all of my Mom and Dads stories about the things they went through or stories about their parents. This is why I write about my day to day life here on Hive, my kids can read my post and hopefully find the memory that they are trying to remember.

With the condition of the river and our health issues, it is a time of revival for us, it is the time for starting over. No, not really starting over but starting to do things differently. I am unsure at our age, what our future will be but we are not going to sit down and watch the rest of our lives pass us by.

My revival is going better than my husband's, he has never learned how to relax, he thinks he has to be working as long as there is light in the sky. He needs to get in the pool with me.
