This is my post for #freewriters 2367 prompt origin of evil hosted by @mariannewest

My oldest daughter's birthday was yesterday and she realized she had not renewed the tag on her car so she went to the DMV to renew it. They told her that they would not renew the tag until she paid the 85.25 in tolls that were overdue, she told them there was no way she owed that much and showed them the receipts where she paid Sun-Pass on her phone. They tell her she has to take it up with her toll company.

Last year when she was renewing her tag they said she owed something around 20 dollars, and she had the receipt where she paid Sun-Pass, but she said she went ahead and paid it because she needed her tag, She ended up paying the DMV, paying Sun-Pass and being charged by E-pass which she does not have an account with. This time they wanted 85 dollars and she was not going to pay that much three times. She was told to call the toll company.

She spent over an hour trying to get Sun-Pass on the phone and once she got to talk to someone she was told that it was E-Pass who was also charging her. She asked who owned the toll roads, Sun-Pass said they did, but she had to take her complaint to E-Pass because they were the ones who were charging her.

After a long wait, she gets E-Pass on the phone and they say they own the toll roads too, they are saying if you go through a toll zone both can charge you. But if she would make an account with them they can save her 40% on her tolls if she uses them more than 30 times in 30 days. She does not go on toll roads that much.

She tries to go online and file a complaint with E-Pass but you can do nothing online unless you make an account with them, she does not want two accounts with two different toll companies.

Talk about an origin of evil they all lie, when she went on the Sun-Pass account the charges she had already paid were 83.10 not 85.25 like the DMV says she has to pay. E-Pass said they will give her the 40% off if she signs up with them. Governor De'Satan is boasting about how he is saving Floridians 450 million a year by cutting toll rates in half, (that is 50%, not the 40% E-Pass was saying they would save her) and with the Govenors new rule you have to use the toll roads more than 30 times in 30 days, E-Pass was right about that but it has nothing to do with getting an account with them.

Now to top it all off she will have to pay the 85.25 to the DMV because her tag is now expired and she will now have to pay a late fee on her tag because she did not get it yesterday.
