5 minute freewrite 2346 prompt marketing

I think I did too much yesterday and all I did was take everything out of my boat to get rid of the bull ants and their eggs. Now I am wondering how I am going to hold up fishing if doing that has put me down today. I did not sleep much last night and when I woke this morning and tried to stand up, my back and my hand was hurting. For most of the day, I have been sitting in my chair with the heating pad on my back.

This Spring we have not sold many of our Areca palms, by this time we used to have sold most of them but this year we have sold maybe one quarter of them. I do not think it is because of the way I am marketing them but more the fact that more people are selling them, also there is a fast growing plant that makes a beautiful hedge called Clusia.

The last two winters we did not get really cold, with no hard freezes. So nurseries have started growing and selling the Clusia as hedge plants, they grow faster than arecas and are cheaper so people are buying them. The only problem with them is they are not cold tolerate. The nurseries do not tell the people this, if we get a hard freeze, it will kill them. The nurseries do not care if they die, actually they would rather they died, this way they can sell more of them or another hedge plant.

A hard freeze will also kill the arcea palms but it would have to stay below freezing for several days, which unless something weird is going on, does not happen in Florida.
