5 minute freewrite 2327 prompt the other capital

This is my post for #freewriters 2327 prompt the other capital hosted by @mariannewest

I had no clue as to what to write for this prompt, so I went to my pictures and typed in the word 'capital' and it showed me pictures of the day my youngest daughter, oldest daughter, her children, my son his wife, and son and me went to New York City, does Google Cloud think this is the other capital? It did not show me all of the photos from that day only the ones from the time MTV was holding a contest in Times Square, it was a video game contest where boys were playing a game with a guitar.

My oldest grandson said he would like to try it and they chose him out of several other boys. He is the one in brown and can you tell how happy he was to be chosen.

Even though he did not win, it was a day he will not forget, or me. I think the other boys were on his team.

The big screen that sits above the words rock the cradle is what they were playing. I was lost just trying to watch the screen because I had no clue as to what he was doing.

I had never thought I would see NYC but I did and found it to be one of my favorite places that I have been to. I would not want to live there but to visit, it was so much fun. I am a people watcher and in NYC you can see all types of people and the energy of this place made me feel so alive, but it was very noisy.

I live in Roseland Fl and found a building that had the same name as my town, I later found out that it was an old dance hall, we were at the back side of it, I wished we would had been able to walk around to the front of it but it would have been a long walk and I did not know then what it was.

Who goes to NYC, now also known as the other capital by me and Google Photos, and does not go to the top of the Empire State Building?

That would be us, they wanted 20 dollars each for us to go to the top. Needless to say, we only made it to the second floor. There were 7 of us, I told my daughter I would pay for her oldest son to go to the top but she said no, we can find something else to see. So I snapped this picture by the front desk.
