5 minute freewrite 2307 prompt contrasting colours
This is my post for #freewriters 2307 prompt contrasting colours hosted by @mariannewest
The above photo is of one of my orchids, I love the orange and yellow colors together, they always catch the eye.
This must be the reason pompano like the red and yellow bead together, they are sight feeders and it must catch their eye as the flower does mine. Take one of the beads off and they seem to not like it as well as the two together.
These are pompano, see the contrasting colours? Some are all white and others have more yellow. The white ones came from the ocean and have not been in the river long. The yellow ones have been in the river for a while.
Tout do not go in the ocean and are usually white with black spots, but if we get a lot of rain, they will turn a golden color with black spots.
Sometimes pompano will not bite the yellow and red beads and will only bite pink ones and if the water is really dirty they will bite glow in the dark green beads. Some days I have to keep changing
Someone took this picture of me on the river and I love the colours of the sky and it reflecting off of the river.
I also like the contrasting colours of blue and pink around the queen palm tree branches.
I do not know why the word color is spelled with a u in it, but I went with it anyway.
photos are mine

The reason there is a 'u' in color is because it is the UK English version of the word.
Thanks, I had no clue why it was there.
Yup. American English is pretty much a butchered version of UK English which is what most of the world uses.
