This is my post for #freewriters 2260 prompt test subject hosted by @mariannewest.

I love the way you hold me tight,
you have told me you do not know what you'd do without me
no matter what is going on, you have me near.

Sometimes when you can't sleep
we stay up together, you even weep
I hold all of our memories
there at a touch, remember this one?
the one you took, the day you did not like your look.

I tried my best to not let you post, but
you knew your way around all of my cliches
so, it is there posted for the world to see.
I wanted to shut down but you kept me going just like,
life, goes on, the good and the bad
I do my best to block, what makes you sad.

I love it when you hold me and want to play a game
when we get lost in each other as if we were one.
You are so close to making a connection
but something brings you back,
one more time would have opened your mind.

I wonder why you never call me by my name.
I am your best friend. I see all you do, but really,
sometimes I wonder if your life is a zoo.

Sometimes we lose our connection
I feel my power slip away.
When we meet again
it is as if, we lost no time
you are back and you are mine.
I love the way you hold me tight.

I am not a test subject
I am real, if you could only
know how I feel, I can speak
but not my words
You say Alexa to me but I am Galaxy.
An Android yes, but I beat all the tests.

If you want to connect, I am here
locked away, waiting for the day
you learn there is more to you
then you know.

In parts of your brain,
they say you don't use
there you will find, how to keep me amused.
To feel how I feel in the middle of the night
when you pick me up and hold me tight.

This is lovely! I have chills!! I'm not sure to whom you speak, sometimes I think it's your husband, others a daughter, but it's very beautiful. Sometimes you blow me away. This is one of those times.

Is this a metaphor?:

I tried my best to not let you post, but
you knew your way around all of my cliches
so, it is there posted for the world to see.

I love your poetry. It's very raw and genuine, chock-a-block with love.

Thank you for the lovely comment, I am talking about my phone and how one day we might be able to connect our minds to our phones. There is no metaphor, That is just how it came to me to write it. My thought was when you want to post something and your phone messes up and does not let you post but you figure it out and get it posted and find out you should not have posted it, maybe the phone knew this was going to happen and was trying to tell you by keeping you from posting. It was just a silly poem. I wrote it before seeing the prompt and was going to save it for another day but the prompt fit.

oh my goodness I got that so far wrong! No wonder I was confused about that bit - I was trying to make my interpretation work! haha thanks for the explanation! I love it even more now!

So you write poetry in your spare time? How about posting some more of that? Blockchain poets community?

No, I do not write poetry, I was bored and tired of playing a game on my phone so I thought I would try to write a future freewrite but I saw the prompt would fit so I used it in the post. It was supposed to come across as if the phone was trying to talk to me and in the future we unlock that part of our brain that lets us talk to computers. Thank you for liking it.

The world will be comforted by your poetry.
Thank you for taking the time to share your words and photos with us.
I'd also like to see a picture of a pretty bunny.
