STORY

There was an unusual earthquake that shook the Andaman region. The council of tamers sent out teams to investigate what had happened and find out if there was anything to worry about.
One of the teams reported the following -

We have found a lot of mutated moles south-east of HQ. They don't seem to be hostile towards humans. They are just digging up precious minerals. We think they can be tamed.

After intensively studying the behaviour of the moles the council deemed them as the first "harmless" mutated animals since the SPIKE.
It was decided that every survivor with a tamer license will be given the responsibility to look after 1 mole. And if they choose to do so they are allowed to collect the resources their mole mines.

Interested tamers were assigned 1 mole each and they started marking their mole's mining site. Tamers started feeding and nurturing their mole to make it mine faster. Everything was going good, but not for long.

It was observed that some tamers were stealing resources from other tamer's mole. This was reported to the council of tamers and it was decided to encourage stealing between tamers. The decision was made to keep the tamers alert, make them work harder and ignite a sense of competition between them.

And thus, tamers not only started stealing but also started fortifying their own mining site. A new form of competition began between the tamers.

Welcome to MOLE MINER! A game where you as a tamer try to out smart others by breaching their fortification and stealing their MUT all the while expanding and fortifying your own mining site.

GAME TERMS

Mining Site

It's the area surrounding the mining hole that your mole is digging. It represents the maximum amount of MUT your mole can mine and keep on the surface.
Once the mining site is fully occupied with MUT, your mole will stop digging and no more MUT will be produced as it will no longer have any surface area left to keep the MUT.

Mining Rate

Your mole has been digging up MUT for you. The more MUT you feed your mole, the faster it will dig up MUT. Mining rate represents the amount of MUT mined per hour by your mutated mole.

Stealing skill

Other tamers have started fortifying their mining site to make sure no one is able to steal from their mining site. Your stealing skill represents which level of mining site fortification you are able to breach and steal from.

Fortification

Recently a lot of tamers have been trying to steal the precious MUT your mole mutee has been digging up. To make sure your mining site is not breached and your MUT is not stolen, you need to fortify your mining site. Your fortification represents the level of stealing skill you can defend from.

Steal

If your stealing skill is at least 1 level higher than your opponent, you will be able to steal the MUT from that player's mining site and all others below that level.

Your opponent's fortification and the amount of MUT they have in their mining site will be shown. You can choose whom to steal from. The MUT stolen is directly issued to your account.

Collect

To make sure that no one steals from your mining site and also that there is always space for your mole to keep mining MUT, you should keep collecting MUT from your mining site at regular intervals.

The amount of MUT present in your mining site at any given time is what you can collect at that time. The MUT that you collect is issued directly to your account.

Steal Chance

When you try to steal from another tamer's mining site, you will be able to steal only a small percentage of the total amount present there.

By default, you can steal anywhere between 0% to 80% of the total MUT present in the opponent's mining site.

You can increase the default steal chance percentage by buying crates. Each $ spent on buying a crate gives you 1 golden point. And 1 golden point increases the minimum and maximum steal chance % by 0.01

In the example above, there are 276 golden points, i.e., 276$ were spent to buy crates from the game. Therefore, the steal chance has gone up from 0%-80% to 2.76%-82.76%

The maximum range of steal chance % is 50%-100% (i.e., 5000$ invested in crates)

Stamina

When your tamer goes out to collect the MUT from the mining site, he/she expends stamina because of all the energy required. Similarly, stealing also consumes stamina of your tamer.

For every collect action you perform, 10 Stamina is deducted from your tamer.
Similarly, for every steal action you perform, 10 Stamina is deducted from your tamer.

Your tamer's stamina regenerates at the rate of 4% per hour.

Upgrades

There are currently 4 things you can upgrade in the game. Think carefully how you want to play the game and which are you want to focus on before you start upgrading something.

Mining Rate		Upgrading it will increase the hourly production of your MUT
Mining Site		Upgrading it will increase the total amount of MUT that you can store at any given time after which MUT production stops
Stealing Skill		Upgrading it will allow you to steal from players with higher fortification level who are likely to be guarding more MUT. Your stealing skill needs to be at least 1 level above your target's fortification.
Fortification		Upgrading it will allow you to defend from players trying to steal your MUT. Your fortification level needs to be at least 1 level above your opponent's stealing skill level for you to not get attacked from that player.

How to Start Playing

To start playing Mole Miner, you need to buy a tamer license, use it to activate a tamer and then send it to in-game.

In case you have never own a tamer before, simply click the BUY button and start playing! This way you can skip all the steps mentioned above!

Integration to MuTerra World

When starting mole miner, players will realise that MUT that they get at level 1 is not enough to upgrade anything even if they steal and collect efficiently. This was intentional so as to encourage players to play MuTerra World. Playing it will help them to gain MUT which can then be used in mole miner to level up.

Also, allowing purchase of crates to affect the minimum and maximum steal chance percentage is another way we connected MuTerra World to Mole Miner.

We also plan to introduce an area inside MuTerra World where a player can go to collect and steal MUT and also make upgrades.

Next Update

In the coming weeks you can expect the following updates in the game -

1. Leader board - We will be introducing SEASONAL and LEGACY leader boards which will be giving various rewards and perks to the leader board place holders and will also give bonuses to those with higher MUT stakes.

2. Logs - Players will be able to see whom they attacked and how much MUT they received in the past as well as who attacked them and how much MUT they stole.

3. Stop inactive players from getting MUT - This will be an important update which will keep in check MUT inflation by stopping MUT production of those accounts which have become inactive thereby stopping other players from continuously attacking inactive accounts.
