Hello, dear #Hive-Collectors community. Best regards to all of you. Especially to @mipiano and hoping you are all wonderful. Today, I present to you a collection of banknotes of various denominations from the year 2017. Behind this collection there is a very sad story 😢, as inflation has done too much damage to our economic system, they have impoverished us without mercy. They have eliminated 12 zeros. Systematically inflation has grown, when we had some millions in our accounts they removed the zeros to the right, and we were left in misery. Many suffered anxiety when they saw that they were left with nothing, completely ruined. In my case I was in shock, but I recovered, little by little.

But I will tell you some anecdotes about it:

While I was standing in line at the bank to withdraw the amount of 1,130,000 Bs. The currency was being devalued, it was already worth 11.30 Bs.
When I went out with that amount to the street, the money was no longer worth what I had withdrawn a few minutes before, the bills were taken out of circulation. And I kept with this memory a large amount of new bills. Maybe it is a bad memory, but accepting this sad reality, adapting to this economic debacle.

I also witnessed that one day I left my work to have lunch, it was market Monday, arriving home I saw a crowd of people in an uproar, the informal merchants could not stand so many bills that they had to receive and count. Some decided to throw all those bills all over the streets, some poorer ones grabbed from the floor to complete and continue buying, all madness!

Then we went to the field to sell some cows and when they went to pay they were sacks of money. Then, anxious, I had to spend the money as quickly as possible, before the bills were taken out of circulation. I counted bundles of bills and put the value on them with a rubber band, arrived at the place, bought the food, took the money out to be counted with the bill counter. Those were traumatic days.

I present the banknotes of 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017.

The curious thing about these bills is that the material, the paper money, is worth more than the purchasing power. Also the coloring is very ambiguous and that on the back of the bills are printed several native animals from different regions of the country.

Currently, we have another group of bills in circulation, I do not show them in detail because I had to use them to pay for tickets. Now one goes to withdraw cash only for some payments such as transportation. Most payments are with digital money and dollars in cash.

I also have coins from 2007, these were taken out of circulation. We were used to our coins in the 60's and 70's, they were made of silver material, there were even gold morocotes and these were worthless and even damaged by the sweat of our hands.

My husband has another group of older bills and coins, maybe later I will show them with their history.
I will show them later with their respective history, for this moment it was impossible to find the place where they are kept.

The interesting thing about these bills is that we can turn them into something more valuable such as origami work, making paintings or any craft. Possibly then they would have a lot of value. I am going to think what to do.

At the time of making this publication I saw positive things and that with work and dedication we will transform it.

Collector friends, it was a pleasure to share this group of banknotes and history.

Well my #Hive-Collectors friends have a nice day!

Interesting your collection of banknotes and coins. Apart from knowing the history behind each denomination, they even include species of fauna that play such a role in our nature. Thanks

Una buena colección la que tienes por allí sin duda alguna. El cono monetario venezolano nos vuelve locos por los valores que indica pero que no son reales en la actualidad. Muchísimo éxito @multifacetas

Origami from banknotes - it sounds cool hehe. But, a collection is a collection, and I know what you are talking about, with the hyperinflation, when you have money in your pocket and in a few hours or minutes you can't buy anything with it. It is sad and frustrating indeed.

The banknote of 5 bolívares, with the armadillo, is my favourite one from this collection ;)

The origami is an idea, there are a lot of repeated bills, I would choose the most damaged ones. And I still have enough left over for several collections. I'm glad you liked the armadillo or cachicamo.

Yes, the colors are attractive, but they are worthless, ha, ha. I kept them as a souvenir. Thanks.
