Hello hive-collectors community. Hoping you are doing great for the rest of the week. Today I have the pleasure to participate in the March initiative of my friend @mipiano. When I first saw the invitation I thought it would be a bit difficult to participate because I had very few puzzles. But when I started looking through the drawers and drawers, I got a dinosaur. I got a 9-piece cardboard dinosaur, a heart-shaped dinosaur, a Power Ranger dinosaur, a Winnie Pooh dinosaur, a wooden Hercules dinosaur. 3D puzzles, several collectible cards with a food product on them, one that my daughter made out of cardboard, and other board games that I had bought for my children when they were kids for their entertainment.

We will describe each puzzle and their stories.

Traditional puzzle🧩

This dinosaur came in a promotion for a medicine, i.e., a multivitamin. My children loved taking them and even more playing with this puzzle.

The Power Ranger came in a small carton, I bought it many years ago. By the time of publication I was missing two pieces.

The winnie pooh was made by my daughter from recycling cardboard in 2020 in pandemic time.

The wooden Hercules, I had it made with a co-worker who made them in his spare time at home, my son would be 8 years old, and the animated movie Hercules was in fashion.

I bought the heart-shaped fomi for them to study the parts and learn them, for the evaluation in high school.

The blue teddy bear was the first puzzle toy I bought for my son when he was 5 years old and then my daughter also used it.

3D Puzzle.

Among the toy drawers I got some cards containing figures from Cartoon Network comics such as the Powerpuff Girls, the cow, and the chick, Johnny Bravo, Barbies, soccer players, Dexter and Dexter's dad and others. These plastic cards contain pieces to assemble, that is, they are small 3D puzzles. These 3D puzzles were invented by Paul Gallant in 1991. Doing puzzles benefits us by stimulating spatial thinking, improves concentration and attention to detail, encourages problem-solving, as well as having fun.

In a separate bag there was this fist of pieces, and it provoked me to put it together and pass the photos, then I felt that besides having fun, I saw the difference of the traditional puzzles, the 3D ones are composed of a series of pieces that when put together correctly form a three-dimensional model. These cases were on promotion in the Kellogg's products, the corn flake.

Making this publication brought back a lot of memories of my children when I was a kid, I started to make 3D puzzles, I used to watch those cartoons with them. When my daughter arrived I asked her if they were ok, then she told me they were bad, Dexter's dad and the cow, he had inverted the pieces, I had to delete the pictures ha, ha, ha, ha. And again I took the final pictures.

The Rubik's Cube

And we could not miss the most popular mechanical puzzle in the world, the Rubik or magic cube. In addition to other board games such as decks of cards or cards and decks of cards.

Hello @multifacetas

Thank you for your entry, and for searching for puzzles at your home. I like so much the one your daughter made and the wooden one you made with a co-worker. I had a similar puzzle (with the blue bear) when I was small but it was with smurfs. NOw I struggle to make hahah :D

Hi. Good to see you joined the challenge of the month. The wooden puzzle is very interesting, as is your daughter's puzzle. As a child I had several at home, no longer, but it's nice to see them displayed in this community. A great exercise to activate the synapses of the dendrites of our nervous system and prevent chronic diseases of the elderly. Thank you for your commitment. Regards
