Hello, dear community of needlecrafters of the world #NeedleWorkMonday. Receive warm greetings, hoping everyone is well. Today I am presenting to you a project related to some Granny squares. As has become routine power outages, yesterday there was one between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. Then between an exorbitant heat, I remembered the advice of my friend @artsugar, that I should start knitting if this happened, I took her advice and went to the art room, looked for some scraps of yarn, and other full rolls. And I set out to do a crochet knit, going through my files I got two long saved diagrams. I looked at the steps and started to follow the diagram, Wow, it's easy, although at first I was confused, but then I got the rhythm, and then I managed to do it. Without further details, I will explain it briefly.

Hoy estoy presentándoles un proyecto relacionado con unos Granny square. Como ya es rutina los cortes de electricidad en el día de ayer hubo uno entre las 8:00 am y 2:00 pm. Entonces entre un calor exorbitante, recordé el consejo de mi amiga @artsugar, que me pusiera a tejer si esto sucedía, tomé su consejo y fui al cuarto de arte, busqué algunos retazos de hilo, y otros rollos completos. Y me dispuse a hacer un tejido crochet, revisando mis archivos conseguí dos diagramas guardados desde hacía tiempo. Observé los pasos y empecé a seguir el diagrama, Wow, es fácil, aunque en el primer momento estaba confuso, pero luego tome el ritmo y luego logré hacerlo. Sin mas detalle paso a la explicación brevemente.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Wicker thread in yellow, light blue, dark green, apple green, gray, old pink, purple, dark blue.
- Pieces of wicking yarn: white, old pink, apple green, mustard, beige, light pink, purple.
- 02 diagrams.
- Crochet needle Nº 2
- Hilo pabilo en colores amarillo, azul claro, verde oscuro, verde manzana, gris, rosa vieja, morado, azul oscuro.
- Retazos de hilo pabilo: blanco, rosa vieja, verde manzana, mostaza, beige, rosado claro, morado.
- 02 diagramas.
- Aguja crochet Nº 2

Ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
aum: increases.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
Ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.

Process//Proceso:
Color Yellow
- v1: Make a magic ring, then 3 chs, 2pa, 3chs, 3pa, 3chs, 3pa, 3chs, 3pa, 3chs, and pr. Close ring.
- v2: Turn weave, make 3ch, 2pa, 3chs, 3pa, 3pa, 3ch, 3pa, 3pa, 3pa, 3chs, 3pa,3pa, 3ch, 3pa, 3pa, pr.
Change color: Light Blue.
- v3: Make 3chs, 2pa, 3pa, 3pa, 3chs, 3pa, 3pa, 3pa, 3pa, 3pa
- v4: Turn weave, 3chs, 3pa, 3pa, 3pa, 3pa, 3chs, 3pa, 3pa, 3pa, 3pa, pa.
Dark green color:
- v5,v6: Repeat v4.
Apple green color 🍏:
- v7,v8: Repeat v5.
Color Amarillo
- v1: Hacer un anillo mágico, luego 3 chs, 2pa, 3chs, 3pa, 3chs, 3pa, 3chs, y pr. Cerrar el anillo.

If you want to make the square bigger, you decide to add more laps, until you get the size you need.
Change color: Gray.
- v9: Repeat v7, all over the fabric, all four sides.
Knot, and hide yarns.
This is a quick knit, so I made one with scraps of yarn, and another with old pink, purple, dark blue and light blue.

This technique consists of making a small square as a start, then knit only two sides, turn and continue knitting and so on until the desired square is completed.
The granny square is an amazing technique, this shape looks like a maze.
It is also that the yarns must all be the same thickness so that the squares are equal.

Esta técnica consiste en hacer un cuadrado pequeño como inicio, luego se teje solo dos lados, se gira y se sigue el tejido y así sucesivamente hasta completar el cuadrado deseado.
El granny square es una técnica increíble, esta forma parece un laberinto.
También es que los hilos deben tener todos el mismo grosor para que los cuadrados queden iguales.
For me it was an excellent decision to do this weaving in this difficult moment, that weaving makes you have fun and that you add the colors and the turns you want depending on the project you want to do and the time goes by, and you are left with a weaving.

I liked how these squares turned out, ideal for making any design such as bags, blouses, for the next one I must make other granny repeating the colors to make the second part. And demonstrate to you the benefits of this diagram.
