Hello. Once again, I bring you a delicious traditional sweet, the Dulce de lechosa, which in the month of December is customary to taste in our country Venezuela, although any day is also valid. Now I will share the recipe.
Hola. Nuevamente por acá, les traigo un rico dulce tradicional, el Dulce de lechosa, que en el mes de diciembre se acostumbra a degustar en nuestro país Venezuela, aunque cualquier día también es válido. Ahora paso a compartir la receta.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Ingredients//Ingredientes:
- One green milky.
- 01 cup of sugar.
- 01 cup of water.
- 01 teaspoon of baking soda.
- 12 cloves.
- Una lechosa verde.
- 01 taza de azúcar.
- 01 taza de agua.
- 01 cdita. de bicarbonato de sodio.
- 12 clavitos de olor.
Process//Proceso:
- The green milky is peeled with the potato peeler.
- It is cut into medium pieces to be able to grate through the coarse part of the grater, it comes out (02 cups).
- Add water to cover.
- Add the baking soda and cook for 5 minutes.
- Then drain it with the strainer.
- Then put it back in a pot, add the sugar and cook over low heat until the syrup thickens.
- La lechosa verde se pela con el pela-papa.
- Se corta en trozos medianos para poder rallar por la parte gruesa del rallador, salió (02 tazas).
- Se agrega agua hasta cubrir.
- Se agrega el bicarbonato y se cocina por 5 minutos.
- Luego se escurre con el colador.
- Después se vuelve a echar en una olla, se agrega el azúcar y a bajo fuego hasta que espese el almíbar.

I made this sweet with fruits from one of my plants in the garden. Very happy because this fruit is delicious, I wanted to make it as a sweet because it was really a long time since I tasted this dessert.
Also, if you cut it in long strips, it is tastier.
And with this recipe it fits me very well.
As it was very soft in very small pieces, it is ideal for spreading on crackers, it was delicious! There are special moments when we can afford to enjoy this traditional sweet, don't you think, who doesn't like a sweet?

Este dulce lo hice con frutos de una de mis plantas del jardín. Muy feliz porque esta fruta es deliciosa, quise hacerla en dulce porque realmente tenía mucho tiempo que no degustaba este postre.
También si se corta en tiras largas, es más sabrosa.
Y con esta receta me queda muy bien.Como quedó muy suaves en trozos muy pequeños está ideal para untar en galleta de soda.¡Quedó deliciosa! Hay momentos especiales que podemos darnos el lujo de disfrutar este dulce tradicional, no les parece, ¿a quién no le gusta un dulce?
