En esta oportunidad el concurso del mes de la comunidad #DiyHub se refiere al Sol 🌞. #SunContest. El socio del mes es #NeedleWorkMonday. Les presento mis saludos afectuosos a ambas comunidades.
Esta vez sí he estado pendiente del concurso desde el primer día del mes. Calmadamente pensando que hacer, varias ideas ha surgido, hasta que por fin decidí por un móvil con cáscara de coco. Otra vez estoy usando la cáscara de coco, esta vez quiero simular el sol en tercera dimensión y que mas adecuado que utilizado este material.
El sol es el centro de nuestro sistema planetario. Todos los planetas giran a su alrededor. El sol es el astro luminoso 🔆 mas grande que la Tierra. Es de forma esférica. El Sol es la fuente de energía primaria para el funcionamiento de todos los procesos importantes como la alimentación, la iluminación, el calor. Sin el Sol la vida es imposible. Paso a dar una breve explicación.

This time I have indeed been keeping an eye on the contest since the first day of the month. Calmly thinking what to do, several ideas has come up, until I finally decided on a coconut shell mobile. Once again I am using coconut shells, this time I want to simulate the sun in the third dimension and what could be more appropriate than using this material.
The sun is the center of our planetary system. All the planets revolve around it. The sun is the luminous star 🔆 bigger than the Earth. It is spherical in shape. The Sun is the primary source of energy for the functioning of all important processes such as food, lighting, heat. Without the Sun life is impossible. I will give a brief explanation.
Paso a paso//Step by step
Materiales//Materials:
- Una cáscara o concha de coco🥥.-
- Lija.
- Silicón líquido.
-Pintura al frío color naranja, amarillo, blanco. - Hilo nailon
- Pintura acrílica negra, azul cielo, blanco, rosado claro.
- Pinceles.
- Parte de un móvil.
- A coconut shell or husk🥥.
- Sandpaper.
- Liquid silicone.
-Orange, yellow, white cold paint.- Nylon thread
- Acrylic paint black, sky blue, white, light pink.
- Brushes.
- Part of a mobile.
Proceso//Process:
- Se procede a lijar las conchas.
- Se inserta los hilos nailon en los orificios. Esos orificios los abrí con un clavo.
- Se pega con silicon ambas conchas.
- Se instala la parte del móvil.
- The shells are sanded.
- The nylon threads are inserted into the holes. I opened those holes with a nail.
- Glue both shells with silicon.
- Install the mobile part.
- Con láminas de aluminios, la partes que trae las margarinas, las doblé en ocho, las corté en forma de cono.
- Las pegué con silicon alrededor de la concha, simulando los rayos del sol.
- With aluminum sheets, the parts that come with the margarine, I folded them in eight, cut them in the shape of a cone.
- I glued them with silicone around the shell, simulating the sun's rays.
- Se pintan las partes. Primero de blanco la concha, se deja secar, luego se pinta amarillo, se deja secar. Después se pintan los rayos de naranja.
- The parts are painted. First the shell is painted white and left to dry, then it is painted yellow and left to dry. Then the rays are painted orange.
Pintado de la cara del Señor Sol.
- Se hace un círculo con pintura blanca acrílica y se deja secar.
- Sobre el círculo blanco se pinta otro círculo con azul claro, y se deja secar.
- Luego otro círculo mas pequeño color negro.
- Y la pupila en blanco.
- Con negro se hace la silueta, las pestañas.
- Con el rosado se pintan las mejillas.
- Con negro una pequeña boca.

- Over the white circle paint another circle with light blue, and let it dry.
- Then another smaller circle in black.
- And the pupil in white.
- With black the silhouette is made, the eyelashes.
- With pink the cheeks are painted.
- With black a small mouth.

… Y Listo ya tenemos nuestro móvil del SOL 🌞 para adornar cualquier lugar.
El resultado quedó perfecto, mejor de lo pensado. Me gustó haber usado ese material. Además, le di vida a ese material que a veces uno cree que es basura, pero no lo es cuando ideamos cosas (reciclado) y si no es por este concurso esos materiales estarían tirados en un rincón. Gracias a la comunidad @diyhub por esta iniciativa. Quedaría perfecto en un jardín o en una sala donde predomine las artesanías.

The result was perfect, better than I thought. I liked using this material. Besides, I gave life to that material that sometimes you think it's garbage, but it's not when we think of things (recycled) and if it wasn't for this contest those materials would be lying in a corner. Thanks to the @diyhub community for this initiative. It would look perfect in a garden or in a room where crafts predominate.
También me parece interesante la relación del coco con el Sol, ya que es muy necesario que cuando el calor está muy intenso que mas delicioso y refrescante que tomar agua de coco, muy usual en las orillas de las playas y también en cualquier establecimiento que se dedique a ese emprendimiento.
I also find interesting the relation of the coconut with the sun, since it is very necessary that when the heat is very intense, what more delicious and refreshing than drinking coconut water. Very common on the shores of the beaches and also in any establishment that is dedicated to this enterprise.
Me emocioné bastante haciendo este proyecto, mas cuando tuve que pintar el rostro del Señor Sol. Dándole cierta emocionalidad de ternura.
I got quite excited doing this project, especially when I had to paint Mr. Sun's face. Giving him a certain emotional tenderness.
