AI Taking and Making Jobs Available ;Did we Not See this Coming Before Now?
Artificial intelligence, indeed, is on a different level right now in this century we are in, as a different dimension of technology is taking the world into a different shape owing to the effect of several scientific and technological manipulations. It is not out of place that since the unveiling of this new phase of technology, several multiple tasks that may be mundane or not are now carried out by a configured artificial intelligence, thereby reducing the stress in humans on doing those tasks. Although the case of artificial intelligence replacing jobs and creating quite a margin of jobless workers has been a debate many have had to contemplate, the truth has to be told, no matter how bitter it is.
Did we not See This Coming Before Now?
Actually, coming from a raw fact and with different expectations of how science and technology keep on evolving with so many findings being brought on literally on a daily basis, the unveiling of artificial intelligence isn't much taken out of context of its impact on jobs. The emergence of artificial intelligence didn't take me that much by surprise because, right from the beginning, even before I was born, man has already been in the quest of changing the known direction of things through research and several developments to ease stress and improve lives. If this is the case, then the emergence of artificial intelligence rendering some people jobless isn't an old fact.
Drawing inference from the emergence of robotics, this is a clear example that there was something stuck, ready to be unveiled at the right time. When robots came into wide existence, one could see that several human activities that were naturally meant for humans to do have now been transferred to robots—not that the works are done half-way or something close to that, but rather that most of the works have been done excellently well. This being a clear example of what is to come, artificial intelligence is driving the world at a different high speed, I must say.
AI Taking and Making Jobs
The total inference of a greater percentage of people right now is on the aspect of artificial intelligence rendering some people jobless and all sorts of other things, but have we thought of it creating jobs too? I mean, let's try to think outside the box a little bit and imagine jobs that are already in the pipeline to be created with the help of artificial intelligence.
Though on my own part, i enjoy using artificial intelligence and the one am too conversant with being #chatGBT. The version of ChatGBT I even use is the free one, and I am getting information in abundance. Indeed, I enjoy using it more, especially during one of the school projects I handled. Just give it the right command, and before you know it, the deed is done, but then there is more.
I once read of a story some time ago where the least person working in a particular company, precisely the cleaning department, was the one that brought the solution many top officials in the said company couldn't, and I must tell you that after that incident he was promoted to an all-time higher role that even requires a consulting role to be paid before he renders his service. The idea of artificial intelligence creating jobs might not come from the expected but rather from the unexpected.
The Jackpot
Let's start with the name it bears: artificial intelligence. Artificial has the literal meaning of something not being natural but rather man-made. Since artificial intelligence is man made intelligence, don't you think that people will try to think out the more on several artificial intelligence which will supercede the already acting or global intelligence making the first one somewhat obsolete or something close to that?, Okay, let's take it from a different perspective: if a particular dimension of AI is working on the aspect of research or findings, don't you think another perspective will be created to work on, say, building or something else?
If so be the case, then researchers will constantly be thinking about how to come up with a different perspective on artificial intelligence that either surpasses the already built AI or is an artificial intelligence that will be working on an aspect of work. One might actually develop such a business, sell it out for a high price, make the money, and dive into a different aspect of work that will require him to need workers that would be working for or under him.
