Dear Diary [LOH158]

Dear Diary,

It was a long day yesterday, I had to go make a delivery of ironed clothes to a very far place, this clients Mrs Yinka whom I just had has as a client isn't paying me well and I made it a point to tell her that yesterday, on getting to her house, I delivered the clothes and I sat wait for her outside the house not inside, cause I have learned my lesson on waiting in a person's house, I wouldn't want same issue to repeat itself.
Mrs. Yinka came back rather late, but I still had to talk to her, even though she made me wait longer because she had to attend to some people whom she tagged as important, I don't know why they treat me this way as if I am a fly. It's no problem, I waited till she was done and ready to listen to me, if she didn't agree to my terms I would have dropped her as a client of my business.

After she made me wait, she also asked me to get her drinks for her said guest which I did, though I didn't want to go at first because I wasn't in the right position to do so and so that she wouldn't say I was disrespectful and proud I went to get it for her and to make it worst she had a specific drink in mind, which I knew was hard to get in our area "SoSa Drink", I had to go to the next two streets before I was able to get this Sosa to drink for her.

I got them to her and she gave them to her guest without a thank you to me, it was rather painful because I had stressed myself to get them.

Finally, they left and she attended to me, I made her understand that running her errands were not beneficial to me and I told her that she had to increase the wages she gave or I would not pick her orders. And she asked why she should increase the wages, and this came as a shock to me because she was also in the country, so it wouldn't look as if I was being disrespectful, cause I wanted to answer her in a bad manner, but I held my calm and explained that the price of fuel went up and a trip that cost #200 naira was now #400 naira and the laundry service people also increased their fee because of this same matter.

Dear diary, thank God I was able to convince her and we came to an agreement which I was so happy about and I went back home smiling.

Dear Diary, I was happy to have her change her mind and listen to my plead, after all I needed the raise because the economy isn't just smiling at anyone.

I had a good time resting after the work, but my neighbor had other plans for me, I had to help her put relaxer in her hair because she was traveling today being Thursday , she said her kids wanted to see their dad who lived in another state.i help her and there we sat outside and talked for a while and before we knew it was afternoon and time to go pick my kid from school and daycare.

Dear diary,
It was a fulfilled day because I achieved the things I needed to do for the day without any mishap.
