Hi guys, last time I wrote a post was 3 days ago, and you know one thing is for sure, whenever I move like that, I come back with hot tales from my invigorating adventure that will keep you at the edge of your seat.

Speaking of being at the edge of your seat. Imagine being at edge of making wife life changing money, you can smell it, infact you can see it….but not just in your wallet, that’s how you feel like most times trading memes, today you’re super close to riding that 1000x token meme, because you just know it, tomorrow you’re back in the trenches or worst, rugged.

You’d be surprised at how people take trading of memes on Solana so personal, in my few days of lurking around there, I’ve seen people who trade memes like we write posts on here, as professionals.

Beneath the memes and noise, it’s a very interesting way to get people to use a chain and learn about it, imagine writing on Hive, but on Solana, it’s trading of memes both pros and noobs all together…its a lot of fun when you’re not loosing money.

There are two types of meme traders, those that get in at launch and get out midway, then there are those that buy and hold.

One of the best things that can happen to anyone is to buy a token that goes 1000x early! Imagine buying token for $100 at 10k market cap, then the token goes on to do $1m market cap, such person is made of he sells.

And you can bet that while most that are lucky to ride such numbers are usually insiders, some people professionally look for this. Check this out, it was very early on a Sunday morning, I woke up mid morning to drink water then I picked up my phone and saw Elon Musks reply to someone’s tweet, “I will buy your token”.

Apparently Elon was having a banter with someone on Twitter named Jason, so I went back to bed and woke up two hours after to a meme token named Jason, people had gone ahead to create a Jason token and it was picking up steam, so I decided to hop on it with $20. In a couple of hours, I watched the $20 go up to $60, it was infact my first buy on Solana.

So I watched the money pump, didn’t take it out, then watched it dump, at the end of the day I was left with about $12, I should have taken profit I know, those are the types of hype meme tokens you get in and get out with.

You don’t drag with those ones because you don’t know where they are going. I had to pay to learn that. But trust that if I get another chance like that I know what to do better.

Hold and Fold

Then for those meme traders who hold, there are tokens to be held too, for example, I saw a meme token, Mumu the bull, which poses to be the official bull mascot for the Solana meme ecosystem, it’s garnered a lot of PR, many Solana users are beginning to warm up to it as the Solana bull run mascot,

now that’s a meme to hold because you’re almost certain that Solana meme traders will always just want to keep increasing their holdings and if you look at the chart it looks like that token people just want to hold…

As I dive deeper into this meme trading adventure, I've come to appreciate the art behind it. Yes, art. Because amidst the chaos and seemingly nonsensical trends, there's a pattern, a rhythm to the madness. It's about timing, intuition, and a dash of daring.

But let's talk about those who hold. The 'Hodlers', if you will, of the meme coin world. There's something admirable, almost noble, about their approach. They're part of a narrative, part of a community that rallies around a shared symbol or joke. It's this sense of belonging that gives these tokens more than just monetary value. It gives them meaning.

“Serious” fun 😑

In a way, it's a lot like how we've built communities around our favorite games, shows, or even cryptos. There's a shared understanding, a mutual appreciation of something that might seem trivial to an outsider but holds significant value to those within the circle.

And here's where it gets really interesting, as the Solana ecosystem continues to flourish, the potential for these meme tokens, especially the ones with a solid community backing like Mumu the bull, becomes even more pronounced. It's not just about holding for holding's sake. It's about believing in the potential of what these tokens represent for the ecosystem at large and sometimes they’re just shit😂

And to those still on the fence about diving into meme trading, I say: why not? There's a whole world of opportunity, laughter, and maybe even a bit of profit waiting for you. Just remember to trade responsibly, know when to hold 'em, and perhaps more crucially, know when to fold 'em. After all, in the wild west of crypto memes, anything is possible.
