Hivebuzz -- Pokemon but on Hive
For those from the right era might know what I'm talking about, you gotta catch em all!
Another year has passed and that means the hive power up day is there again. At this point it is also time to close the final power up month of 2023. I managed to close it successfully again and with that receive the final badge:
I'm a bit sad to have missed two badges in the past year. In both cases I was very busy and simply forgot to power up one day. It happens. For 2024 I will do another attempt. I'll try to stay focussed the whole year round this time.
This first of January I powered up 50HP to get my own badge and powered up 10HP to another acount for the helper badge. One down, eleven to go!

Very Brief on Goals
While in 2023 I managed to grow my account by 2K HP and with that become a dolphin, 2024 should show the same growth. That is, I would like to add another 2K and end up around 8K powered up. With steady curation, regular posting, and now with the witness node up and running that goal should be doable.
Regarding the witness, it has been running smoothly now for about three weeks and signing two to three blocks a day without issues. Once the first month of uptime has passed I'll write a small update regarding this topic.
With the new year ahead, I wish you all a great year with nice challenges and opportunities ahead! I'm looking forward to lots of interaction here on the chain and beyond!

Congrats on your plans! I've managed to get the power up badge for 2023 and plannig to get the next one too. You'll make it this year for sure! See you at the power up post. If you land on my list, at least I don't have to check your case 😏

Nice work on the power up day, I tried to do the same thing, you need to be on the ball or you miss a day.
I am a new witness also and was wondering if you have a spare slot for a vote, I will do the same.
Yeah I kind of made it a habit to do it first thing in the morning. Once it's in your system it's not too hard to keep doing.

Yeah good point, can do both makes sure you get the badge. I can send my script to for a code review once it close to being ready if you like
Yes that would be really nice, just send it over! If it checks, close to the end of the daily deadline, whether a transaction has already been done it kind of acts as a safety net :)
