The Perks of Working From Home

I grew up in a home where my dad was out working in a company to earn money for the needs of the home. I grew up believing one has to always go out of the comfort of the home to earn money. While that may be true at that time, it isn't same now as there are more job opportunities online than even offline.

Dreaming to become a medical personnel, I've been studying and preparing my mind towards working away from home most of the times too but right now, things are not as they were before. It's surprising to me how much comfort I feel being at home and earning at the same time.

It's been that way since I found online blogging as one of my favourite hobbies is writing. Being on Hive and earning from the comfort of my home has a lot of Perks which I'd like to share in this post.

I'll be sharing five perks I enjoy working from home and I mean, spending time here on Hive. There are a lot more but these are more than enough to share as they are of great advantage for anyone working from home.

My schedule is flexible

There's almost no job that is as flexible as when you are working from home. Jobs that could be close is personal businesses since the owners could decide when and when not to work. Working from home, you get to do things at your own time and not under pressure or strict deadlines like companies do give to their employees.

My daily routine as a blogger from home could get free time as much as I want or not at all, it all depends on how I plan it to go. I get to change things or add to what needs to be done, all that without any form of application or permission needed.

Saving expenses cost

I've witnessed a lot of people who don't work from home complaining about spending way over their earnings for each month from the job they are doing. It's no surprise as they have so much to spend on daily from transportation expenses to lunch expenses and a lot of other things they have to spend on since they are not at home.

Working from home, I get to save a lot more since I only go out when I need to get something or an occasion. I also don't have to spend on buying foods outside, I could cook at home and save more. This is why the flexibility of working from home is cherished.

Reduced Stress

Aside spending on transportation expenses, if one doesn't have a personal vehicle, it is a whole lot of stress to leave home daily and some even very early into the bustling streets trying to get to work. Not just that, one is bound to face different kinds of people at work and these things are causes of stress that one can't avoid working outside the home.

At home, one could work and take time out to rest anytime and doesn't have to converse or face the pressure of answering to different calls or commands. Working from home reduces stress.

The comfort it gives

Having to not think on what to wear everyday for work or experiencing wardrobe problems is another thing to be grateful for working from home. I get to wear my comfy clothings at home and could even eat in the same place I work, it's funny but I enjoy the fact that I could do all that and still warn.

Spend more time with my family

This is my most favourite perk of all, and I plan to keep it that way when I have my own family. Spending more time with family by working from home. I could watch the little ones from my work place inside the house, play around anytime and still be active enough on your job to earn well enough.

I must say, the perks over weighs the small disadvantages of working from home. One tip I was told and I'll share now is to not get too comfortable and forget to care for physical health. Sedentary lifestyle should be avoided while one works from home.
