My Experience at Zealy, LPUD Participation

The zealy campaign ended and there is no participant who didn't learn something new from being part of it. Maybe I should talk about myself instead, I learnt a lot and if I'm to rate the campaign from 1-10, I'd give it 9/10 and I'll give my reasons for removing that 1 to complete the total rating. Nothing is perfect but zealy campaign was almost perfect and I had no complain for all it's activities.

Performing one quest after the other, claiming XP, engaging more on threads and growing my Leo stakes, all thanks to participating in the zealy campaign. I've learnt so much from writing better contents to finding out what I can do if only I should try (art) and learning to engage more on threads.

Highlighting lessons learnt from participating in the zealy campaign

The learning process got more fun for me when I became part of the zealy campaign. The last adoption campaign was a success and I came third on that one. This recent one was more successful with a bigger prize and a lot more fun quests to do and claim bigger XP. Before I share the lessons learnt, here is my position on the recent campaign and I think I did great considering the fact that I couldn't explore some adventure before deadline.

That position won a huge prize of 1175 Leo and 4 NFTS as announced in this post and I am so grateful to have won that much in the position I found myself in. It is a huge boost to #myleogoals and I can't wait to power some up as I also need some for offline expenses. With this opportunity, I'd be able to achieve my year's goal of powering up to 5k to become a Cub as I do have about 4500 Leo Power already.

With that said, here are a few lessons I learnt from the campaign.

Finding Threads more fun and easier

I didn't engage much on threads until the campaign and it has been awesome since I started there especially with the special battles organized during the campaign, it helped me engaged more and I also got to meet new friends which I think is more valuable. Now, I try to engage on threads as much as I can. I'll be doing more in the future especially with the features being updated there regularly, so user friendly I'd say.

Powering up more Leo

One of the zealy quest required us powering up to 8k Leo. Even though I couldn't power up that much, I powered up the highest amount of Leo last month. I powered up more than 2000 Leo and that is a huge amount compared to all the power ups I've done. Because of that, my stake increased and I'll be achieving my year's goal in just the first half of the year.

Creating better long form contents

Before the campaign, I do write a lot of long form contents but the campaign taught me better ways to write them and make them stand out. One of the new things I've learnt is the use of Leoglossary and SEO to make my post appear on search engines. The recent curation format at the community has also helped to boost the quality of my posts and I'm more than grateful about that.

Discovering new things about myself

Being able to get some quests done is still a surprise to me, I wouldn't have thought I was capable to doing them until I actually tried and it worked out fine. I don't think I'll forget this zealy campaign in a long time and I'm sure it is same for many who joined in. I plan to discover more things about myself as this campaign has made me realize there could be more that I can do.

Ways to earn Leo for #lpud participation

You don't have much Leo to power up? Here are some ways you can gather some Leo up for LPUD participation.

  • Creating Leo contents using the Leofinance interface.
  • Delegating Hive power to Leo.voter to get Leo rewards.
  • Engaging on threads to earn Leo, Hive, gosh and other tokens.
  • Buying Leo with your Hive rewards using Leodex
  • Joining Leo campaigns like the just concluded one, there might be another cooking up.
  • Have the mindset to grow your stakes and support the community.

My #lpud participation and process of powering up

I realized some persons aren't familiar with the new user interface to power up their Leo with it, it's actually very simple and straightforward. All you have to do is visit the Leofinance frontend, click on your profile icon and go to wallet. You will be shown this page, click on the circled icon (for power up).

I made this screenshot after powering up but that is the icon you click on to power up and input the amount you want to power up. It doesn't need much confirmation and it's easy to understand.

For my #lpud participation, I powered up just a little as Leo price went high and I couldn't buy much. Would have powered more if the prizes from the campaign had been distributed but no big deal, I can always have them powered up later on.

170 Leo powered up for LPUD and that means I'll be getting the badge as the minimum amount to get the badge is 150 Leo. I hope you'll join in and get that badge too. There are also huge Leo delegation prizes to be won when you join power up days, don't miss that.

And that is it for this post, happy LPUD to you all.
