Why People Fall Out Of Love. MCGI Topic Review

The MCGI Cares live Service on Monday, 15th April had wonderful lessons to reflect on. There was a discussion on why people fall out of love. Some of the points outlined include

Growing Up Separately

When people grow up separately, they lose intimacy with each other. That can lead to failing love. People who didn't grow up together, will not be able to understand each other. Lack of understanding can make their love fail. So, love built upon separate existence might scatter.

Have different life goals

Inability for people to harmonize interest can lead to falling out of love. The Bible says “Can two walk together except they agree?” That is impossible. Two people can love themselves if their interests and goals and far apart. There should be unity of purpose if there must be love.

Difference in beliefs

Our belief plays a very vital role in our life issues and pursuit. People choose careers that agree with their beliefs. They dress to reflect their beliefs. In fact they choose friends and companions that reflect their beliefs. There can be a successful relationship if the beliefs of such individuals are not considered. Where there are differences in beliefs, that love might scatter.

Distance relationship

Relationships built from a distance apart can have issues. There is a need for proper understanding of each other in any relationship. When people enter into distant relationships, they will not last. Distance relationships kill trust and confidence in each other.

Personal Changes

Personal Changes can lead to falling out of love. When the person you love previously changes and you do not agree with such changes, that love will go separate ways. So, when a person changes either in attitude or otherwise, that can make people fall out of love.

Money

This is very vital. Lack of proper understanding in the issues of money will scatter love. Money is central in making love to stand.

1 John 2:15-17 (KJV) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
