Thanksgiving. MCGI Topic Review

Matthew 28:20 (KJV) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

I’ve you given God thanksgiving today? If not please look for an opportunity and do so. We should offer thanksgiving to God always because it is our voluntary offering unto Him. When we thank God, we are expressing our gratitude to him. As we have been told by Bro Eli Soriano in the teachings of the doctrines, Thanksgiving is one of our voluntary actions which we do to God out of our own free will.

In the church, there are several types of services. Some of those instructions and actions are commanded, and others are not commanded. Those actions that are commanded are the doctrines which we have no choice than to obey. Those actions that are not commanded are the voluntary actions. There are those actions we do out of our own free will to God.

The voluntary actions, as explained to us by Bro Eli Soriano are vows, contributions, thanksgiving and doing good works. These actions are not the doctrines. We are not under obligations to do them. We only do them out of our love for God.

Hebrews 13:15 (KJV) By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Thanksgiving is one of the voluntary actions. We offer thanksgiving as our free will offering unto God. Let us always offer thanksgiving unto our God. Let us thank him for answering our prayers. Let us thank God for saving our souls. Let us always thank God because He deserves our Thanksgiving.
