Rocking With The Youths On Sunday.

Sunday was very eventful. That was Sunday, 21st April, 2024. There is this monthly Youths Fellowship that takes place every third Sunday of the month. The meeting is always full of excitement. There is always that loud, resounding echoes that is heard in the neighborhood due to this meeting.

During this meeting, the youths display various talents and creative abilities. Most people attend the meeting because of the various interesting varieties of creativity which they usually exhibit. This edition of the gathering was not exceptional. In fact, they were many exciting displays which accompanied it.

I was in the meeting to catch fun with the young minds and share in their joy. Attending this meeting also make them believe that you appreciate and approve of their activities. There are many people in the community who seems not to be interested in sharing in the feelings and joy of the youths. Those kind of people always neglect the programs of the youths.

Gifted and Talented

I have always been in attendance of this meeting. It always fun. I appreciate them because I know how it feels to be a youth. I too was a youth someday. Not as if I am old now but this classification usually refers to unmarried youths or single youths. The beauty of this meeting every time I am in attendance is the level of talents and creative abilities displayed. This months edition was fun. There were singing exposition, drama presentation, talk show and lots more. I was very happy to see a little girl of less than 20 years give a wonderful talk show. The meeting was full of many interesting items.

Love Them

I can't understand why many people seem to look at the youths as a crop of wild creatures. Many people refuse to show them love. I think that it will have a great societal impact if we learn to love the youths. We should have feelings and allow them to display their necessities. Disdaining them and marginalizing them won't help to make them better people in society.

Allow Them

Tending to cage the youths might have detrimental effects to the society. We should allow them to have fun and express themselves. They always want to display their feelings and do what makes them happy. It is wise for us to allow them to express themselves through those moments when they display their creativity and talents.

Correct Them

Finally, I think we should toe the line of correcting their excesses rather than extinguishing them. They are many useful abilities in them. It is only that most of those abilities are crude. We might not see how important it is now but I we wisely correct and guide them, they might become great blessings to us individually and communally.
