Petroleum Supply, #69 photofeed contest - street photograph

One of the factors that enhances the efficacy of a system in an economic environment is its supply chain. That a product is very useful is one thing but the ability to get it down the chain to the distributors becomes vital. If the product does not get to the consumers, its usefulness might erode out as time goes by. This is very instructive because the people might devise an alternative over such a product due to its unavailability.

One of the major drivers of the economic life of our country is petroleum products. These petroleum products include petrol, diesel, and kerosene. They are very essential because they are the major source of fuel which produces the energy that powers our economy in virtually all sectors.

We use petrol for fueling our cars. Diesel is also used as fuel for heavy duty machineries. The domestic fuel supply comes from kerosene and natural gas.

The picture is my entry for the round 69 Street Photography for #photofeed contest. It is a petrol station. It is one of the most common infrastructure present in all our streets. It is usually referred to as filling stations. Yes, logically you would agree that it is a filling station. Here people come to refuel their vehicles and purchase petroleum products for powering generators at and in the office. The petrol station is situated in virtually all our streets.
