My Activities on Saturday, 27th April.

Good day, friends and family in the Weekend Experience Community and all great and productive people in the Hive Blockchain. It's always fun sharing our experiences, thoughts, life lessons, adventures and other articles on the high blog. And most importantly it my pleasure having the opportunity to share my weekend experiences and activities with the Weekend Experience Community😃. You don't know how excited I am every time I take up my device to compose my actual experience for a community like this. On the Blockchain, we have those who are deeply endowed with crypto and other financial information. Such can write everyday about crypto and economy. If I want to try that, I would sound stupid because I'm not vested with such knowledge much. So, I feel happy to discover the weekend experiences community and others like this where I can share my real life experiences and lessons.

Where Were You

I was in the farm. There is a philosophy that says that whatever you know how to do, do it well. I know how to farm and I love farming. So, on a fair weathered Saturday like 27th April, I would definitely be in my farm. Let me not sound weird to you for talking much about farming (I know that not many young people in this dispensation like farming especially from my country. They think farming is for the low class and illiterate. Well if I were an illiterate, I won't be able to report what I did.)

Doing What

We prepared new grounds for planting maize, potatoes, melon and cassava. We also remove weeds out of areas we have planted where weeds have started growing. Weeds are crop destroyers. It is not good to let them grow in the farm with the crops. They choke the crops and inhibit their growth and productivity. We made heaps for yam cultivation. Most importantly, we made some harvest of the old cassava plants that are due for harvesting.

Fun?

Really great fun!😃 It is fun when you are at where you derive joy from what you are doing. It is fun when you spend time doing what you love doing. It is fun when you engage with what brings you profits financially and otherwise. You are happy and more productive when you do what you mind accepts to do.

The farmlands is full of many other farmers. It is a community of it's own (probably a community with the wild.) Many people come to the farm from our various homes for their farming activities. The farm offers us the privilege of meeting new people, making new friends and reuniting with old ones. There are several dishes to share together as everyone comes with food for refreshment. We have fun listening to football news and circular news because those who have tales will always tell. We hear about what is happening in European Football; we talk about the country’s economic conditions and many more. The farm community is full of fun.

Saturday experience was great and productive. The rain had just fallen the previous night so the planting exercise was highly motivated. We changed unhealthy seedlings and replanted those that needed to be planted. It was a great and productive day for me because I achieved my goals and pushed my ambition forward.

Always spend your day doing productive engagement. Most of my Hive Blockchain engagement these days are done during my relaxation times in the farm (since we are in the season, I usually spend most of my days in the farm)
