Forgiving Others. MCGI Topic Review

If we want God to forgive us, we must always and willingly forgive others. God will not forgive us if we don't forgive others. The Bible tells us so. For us to be sure that we can assess God's forgiveness for ourselves, we must forgive others. Forgiving others therefore becomes the criteria for us to receive our own forgiveness from God.

Matthew 6:14 (KJV) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Understanding this teaching from Bro Eli Soriano means we will have to forgive people always. We must forgive those who offend us every time. Forgiving others should not be for those who are close to us alone, we should forgive everyone who offends us.

What a message this video is to me! It reminds me that time is not in my hands to decide when I forgive others and when I should not because I could have the need for the forgiveness of God at any time. What a timely message this is. We are expecting Jesus so we should make sure that our hearts are clean and acceptable before God by forgiving others.

We should forgive both those we like and those we do not like. We should forgive both those who are our relatives and those who are not. We should forgive both those who offend us mildly and those who offend us deeply. We must forgive just everyone who sins against us.
