We are just over halfway through the splinterlands halving promo. With this week's post, I wanted to unpack the cards in a bit more detail and see how people may potentially use them. Please note, that I do not own these cards, so the post this is more me theory crafting.

Baron Fyatt is a card with a mix of death and fire elements. While his stats may seem average at a glance. With a mana cost of five, one magic damage, two speed and six health. It is his special abilities that make him exceptional. The Having ability, which Baron Fyatt possesses from level one makes him a powerful ally or foe depending on your perspective. Baron Fyatt gains Ambush ability at level three giving him an edge by striking before his opponent's first round of battle begins and potentially giving an advantage. Combining him with support units can maximize his attacks proving detrimental to the opposition who rely on clustered formations, as Baron Fyatt Scattershot's ability effectively disrupts enemy formations.

Henchling Enforcer - The Sneaky Attacker

On the battlefield, the Henchling Enforcer emerges as a monster card blending life and water elements. Despite his six mana cost, his initial stats may appear modest with two ranged damage, three-speed, one armor and three health. Nevertheless, his abilities offer opportunities. The Halving ability (which he shares with Baron Fyatt), One of his ability's mirrors Baron Fyatt having ability granting an advantage in battles. As he advances in levels the Henchling Enforcer acquires the True Strike ability for attacks and later gains Camouflage ability to become elusive and immune to direct targeting. Due to True Strike, his consistent damage output makes him a dependable monster, in decks centred around life and water battles.

While the Bitcoin and the general crypto markets continue to be choppy, the SPS tokenomics continues with its downward trend. DEC is almost sitting at 20% below its $1 peg and SPS has maintained its price for the past week at $0.014. It is laughable at this stage, but at the current price of SPS, it will take almost two decades to pay back the investment cost for the two Land plots. Not realistic at all and we do not even know if the game will be around by then 😊.
