The garden center sells freshly cut evergreen trees at Christmas time. These trees are grown on tree farms to be harvested and sold specifically as Christmas trees.

I have an artificial tree that I pack away after the holidays and use again the next year, so I don't pay much attention to Christmas tree prices, although I read that prices are up 10% over last year.

The gift shop is filled with everything you might need to decorate your home for Christmas. There is a huge selection of tree ornaments.

Little unicorn walker is so cute taking her time to adjust to her style! (Played fine this side of the pond.)

Never bought a live tree as the needles fall off far too quickly in our heat, interesting the cost goes up like everything else.

Thanks! Oh, those needles are a nightmare. I have a few fresh bits of every greens in the house and they make enough mess to keep me busy! My forced air heat really dries everything out in the winter.

What many here do is plant a small tree to decorate for children in the garden, then use small fake tree indoors.

Only ever had one live branch as children in the home, cleaning up after parents decided never again, it was a treat after all. Made up with the most exquisite lights with little bulbs of snowman, angels or other characters that Mom bought for decor.

Decoration is gradually going on over here. Some shops have been repainted. But since I don't have time to step outside to big city, I don't really know what's going on much over here.

Fun Christmas shop. We have an artificial tree also and its not up yet 🙁 We always pick up an advent calendar from Trader Joes. Not sure how this got started but the boys still enjoy it haha

In Argentina it is not customary to have this type of tree for the Christmas festivities, here we have artificial trees and every 10 years they have to be renewed and the old one must be given as a gift to a person who does not have a Christmas tree.

All these trees have been grown to be cut down. They will be decorated for Christmas, and are now dead, but will stay green and then be disposed of after the holidays.

It's like that in every country the prices have gone up. This year I play here in our country too and we're seeing people decorating in a much more beautiful way. Events mean that. That there is an opportunity to meet each other.
