The Baltimore Orioles have been and gone already!
Orioles migrate to Wisconsin during the first part of June, build their nests, fledge their young, and by mid August they have already left here to go south to Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and the northern tip of South America.
When they are here I put out a feeder filled with grape jelly, and it is such fun to watch the activity just outside the window.
The adults bring the young and shove in mouthfuls of jelly until the young ones figure it out for themselves.
When activity is at it's peak I often have to refill the feeder 3 times a day.

Not long. Maybe a minute? I wrote the title and created the tags and by then the video was in my gallery ready to add to the post Give it a try and ask if you have questions.

Photos were taken through the not very clean window glass! This was a quick attempt to do a post to test some changes that Ecency devs made.
Birds migrate from one to another place in favor of good weather. Love these innocent creatures.
The orioles leave when cold weather aoproaches, but always return to spend the summer here again next year!

Such beautiful birds are a great joy to watch when they are outside the house, especially in the morning, their sounds are very beautiful.
It does become much quieter out there when our summertime birds leave!

Oh, no. Feed the birds in the summer? They have to catch bugs and spiders.
They do plenty of that, too! I've been trying to take insect photos and have not seen a single bug all summer. We have a very healthy bird population!
