Meet our friend Cyrus.

Our friend Cyrus will be turning 2 years old on July 29th. My daughter Ella takes him on walks everyday while his parents are at work.

He often gets into mischief, and he has an interesting combination of character traits. He might be very naughty or on his best behavior. No middle ground.

His favorite activity is playing fetch. He can go after the ball for hours and hours!
Every so often, it is impossible to take the tennis balls from him after the game, as they are highly valuable for him, and he wants to take them in the houae with him.

Like most German Shepherds, Cyrus is very loyal, incredibly clever and very athletic!
On weekends, his parents take him to the lake, and he really loves swimming. However, last time he found a dead fish and might have had a bit of it and he was sick for a week after

He is still a puppy with lots of energy -occasionally he performs his signature zoomies - when he loops around at full speed, sweeping everything around. 😂

Looking so cute. Pets are always so loyal and innocent. But they requires alot of care and love.

dogs are very active pets (in my opinion). I do see a lot of dogs with their owners while my morning walk. sometimes it is really hard to control them. 😅

Even though my favorite dog is the Siberian husky however this Alsatian dog looks fun as well.

I think in our country Pakistan the usual price for a husky is round about 500 dollars or more and even Alsatians are I think in similar range as well. Alsatians are usually the preferred dogs for hunting for bombs by police squads that is what I have noticed from tv shows and in air ports as well.

Not surprised by your quotation but I was referring to the domestic ones prices. An old man told me something very strange over 2 decades ago he said the Alsatian dog can do mathematics + and - somehow so they can even beat an illetrate person even.

chasing the cat in to the tree ? i would love to have a dog again but i think the cat will disagree and so will my wife . And on the other hand now i can stay inside while the weather is bad .😁

A squirrel! I think the squirrels make a game of it. I'm rather happy that for the first time in my life I do not have a pet to clean up after. 😁

A very beautiful shepherd dog. When I served in the army, I was a dog handler and I had the same shepherd.

What a pretty one! My dad had one before I was born and still they talk about him as a wonderful companion.
I always loved German Shepherds, especially the White Shepherds, but never wanted to have one for my own because they often are not easy to handle.

Thats true, although it also depends on the genes. Friend of mine always had them,but with one they have troubles now. It turned out, His family tree in one side they are all aggressive, but nobody told them before

He is okay with his parents, they also love him and they have a Garden and no children. When someone comes to visit he gets locked in a room.

Good looking dog. My last dog was a mix with lots of German Shepherd. His body looked just like Cyrus but had enough Golden Retreiver to have a very different face. Happy Birthday Cyrus 🎂
