Palara Village Park a New Adventure to explore

Hello mum's and dad's of Hive I hope you are having a wonderful time raising your children and living in the moment. Something as parents we often forget to do as we are bogged down with changing nappies, doing chores and ensuring the household is kept in some kind of order.
It's important that you take time to stop and spend time in the parenthood life because soon, it will pass like all things and our children will be olders, more independent and we will find ourselves missing the times we dread today. Although, a clean home is something I do miss now.

One of the ways we keep active and enjoying life, if you have been following a long is by going on adventures and exploring new and exciting places. For our family we live in a newish developed area with lots of new suburbs sprining up all over the place. While change can sometimes
be hard to deal with, it too brings lots of opportunities. It's not uncommon to find new parks and gardens in development close to home and the kids love heading out to find new things. No two parks have been the same and some have their own challenges and special designs to keep kids active.

Our latest adventure was to Palara Village Park not far from our home and the design and layout of this play space was something we have never seen before. One of the interesting things was the maze which was suspended off the ground and built inside a box.

Lucky we went on a cool day as it did get quite warm inside the maze and I did wonder how it would feel inside the suspended maze if it was a warmer day or in the middle of summer. Another awesome feature at the park was the play tower which was also a series of ladders and rope bridges that you could climb to the top and get a 360 Degree view of the entire area.

Being so high up was a little scary but these play towers have been a growing feature of all the new parks that are sprouting up around the community and provide kids (and big kids like me) the opportunity to see all around our area and locate points of interest.

I can't hope but think how these towers might be used in the future amongst children as they call their friends out to come and play. One could wait at the top of the tower and watch from all areas as their friends made their way to the park.

There is also another new park opening soon that houses not one but two towers in the shape of rockets with a bridge in the middle that connects the two together. It already looks quite scary but I can not wait for it to be completed and explore the park with the kids.

What are some of the ways you make great family memories? Do you also make home made family videos and record your time as parents of young children?

Fantastic, Videos are a great way to relive those times. I upload mine to YouTube and 3speak and my kids will sit there watching them. A great way to remember the years that have gone by

Facinating park. My favorite one that I remember as a child was a great big mess of interconnected jungle gyms, slides and bridges that were built down a slope. It was like one big jungle gym because everything was connected to everything else. Of course, I was pretty little, so likely wasn't really as big as I thought it was. XD
